Heart of Texas Irrigation Systems

I needed the backflow inhibitor (or whatever it's called) updated, and needed a few sprinkler heads replaced. He did the work, I believe he made up some work to do also, telling me there was a busted pipe. He told me up front that he didn't charge by the hour but by the job. Said it would be about $600 for the work I needed. So I thought nothing of his worker wandering around in the yard doing nothing but digging holes and filling them.  The timer was not working on the system and he did not believe us! He said it was unlikely! We had to prove to him it was not working. Finally he quoted us a price of around $300 to replace the box. Then when I got the bill it was for $1350. He did charge by the hour so I paid for his worker to wander around my yard.
