This tree was endangering the integrity of our building.  Previously a limb had fallen on the roof and had damaged the brick, parapet wall.  Mr. Goss and his crew removed the tree down to the ground in one morning and removed all of the debris without harming either the building or the surrounding area.  Mr. Goss was kind, polite, gave an accurate estimate when the job was scheduled and performed the difficult work in a professional and safe manner.  Mr. Goss was on site most of the morning, but his foreman and crew performed admirably the short time that he left the site for conferences with other clients.  This was a very difficult tree to remove safely without harming my building or the one located next door.  The price was very reasonable considering the difficulty, the risk involved to the crew, and the very expensive equipment that was required to perform the removal safely.  Thanks.

Even though this was a relatively small job, Neil Goss was extremely responsive and performed exactly what I requested. They fit our small job in between others and it was completed extremely quickly. I felt like he treated this job as an equal with other that were many thousands of dollars. Mr Goss came out and gave a fair estimate. He was very professional and easy to deal with. He came out and did the work even better than I would have expected. Was courteous and left the area very clean. I would hie him again in a heartbeat.

The work was performed quickly and professionally. The crew was fantastic. Each tree was cut and stumps ground, and their clean-up afterwards was exceptional. They cleaned and chipped up the limbs, raked leaves, and hauled off tree trunks. Our yard looked as if it had never been touched. We were extremely impressed with the workmanship and professionalism. I would highly recommend them.

I have lived in my home for 23 years and my property is flanked by pecan trees. We had cut back the tree on my property, but recently during a storm, a large piece of the tree fell and dented the hood of my car. Years ago a piece of pecan tree from my neighbor's yard fell onto the roof of my son's pickup. The trees on my neighbor's lot had grown very tall in the last several years and hung over my driveway. For many months these tree branches bothered me to the extent that I called my insurance agent and spoke with him. His recommendation was to have the trees cut back because that would likely cost less than the deductible and cost of repair. I looked on Angie's List for a reputable business and found Neill Goss. He came out and gave me an estimate last week and did the work today. I was amazed at how well his employees were able to climb and cut the trees. He also brought a tree chipper so the limbs were taken care of on site. They blew the driveway and cleaned up any mess made by the process. He and his crew of five were here about three and a half hours (with 30 minutes for lunch). I would certainly recommend Neill Goss Tree service to anyone in need of tree trimming or tree removal.

Goss Tree service did a good job for us. We have two very large Live Oaks, two small Live Oaks and three Pecan Tree that Goss trimmed for us. Neill is very knowledgeable and knows what he is doing. He and his workers were professional and respectful of our property. They did an excellent job and I would use them again.

He arrived on time, and we agreed on the terms of service. He said he would check his calendar on when he could fit it in. When I got home from work that afternoon the job had been completed!

I received a bid from Neil Goss, and we agreed he would have his company do the work. We remained in contact via email (my choice), and scheduled a date for the work to be done. The team of five and Neil showed up on time and they took 2 days to carefully trim 4 ancient and massive oak trees surrounding my home. These trees had not been trimmed in decades. These gentlemen were true artists and carefully selected branches for pruning and cutting. They also trimmed 5 large crepe myrtles and 2 magnolia trees. They also completely removed 3 volunteer trees that were planted or simply growing too close to the foundation of the house. They cleared and cleaned the property of logs and limbs, saving some fire wood for me, and using a chipper for the remainder so everything was recycled and left clean. I was extremely pleased with the work that was done. He is a certified arborist, knows his business, and I recommend him highly!

I called four different companies, and Goss was the first to reply
and come over. He was very professional and courteous. When he gave me
the price, I was satisfied and wanted to hire him right then. He
looked over the tree that needed taken down and immediately realized it
was a danger to leave any longer than necessary. At first, he said it
would be maybe later in the week, but he decided he
didn't want to let the tree stay any longer than need be. He came over
the next day as planned and the tree was down within 4 hours. All his
men were professional and proficient in their craft. Neill even took
some extra small greenery from between our garage and our neighbor's garage
without charging any extra. They left the place clean and neat. I
would recommend GOSS TREE SERVICE to anyone else for work.

Neil came out and gave me a quote and explained that it was such a big job, it would take over a week to finish. The price, which is including tax, might seem stiff to some, but if you would have seen my yard before.... it makes sense. I don't think my house has been seen from the street for over 40 years or more. The huge old oak that is right over the house had dead limbs and vines.... I knew I needed to hire someone who had all the big machinery and skills so I wouldn't have to worry about anything happening to the house. Neil was very knowledgeable about the types of trees that were there, and the health of the trees. I felt very comfortable with him telling me which trees had to go because they were dead... and which trees had to go because they were "not needed" and which trees could stay and how healthy they are.
They came every morning at 7:30am ready to work and in uniform. They took a lunch break and they didn't leave until 5 or close to 5 when they had to run to the dump again. They explained that my driveway would be blocked while they were there, but I had a back entry so that was fine. Neil told me exactly what to expect... and that's exactly what happened... no surprises!
I have to say, as an animal lover, I was very impressed when they found a dead log with a Mama raccoon and her babies... they moved the log to the side.... so that the Mama had time to move all of her babies somewhere else! They also did the same thing with a Mama squirrel who had babies.... and when they found a bee hive.... they moved it to the side until I could call someone. I think they were very responsible about the wildlife they found.
This was a HUGE job that I have been putting of for 6 years. I'm so glad I decided on Goss Tree Service. I will sleep much better at night when we have those horrible storms, knowing that all my dead limbs above my house are gone. And I would hire them again in a second if I had any other tree issues.

See above -- the quick answer is that the result exceeded my expectations. The pricing was in order -- I had not had any work done on 2 trees over a period of 10 years. There was a lot of work required.

I have used many tree trimmers at various properties. At this particular property I needed someone with lift trucks because of the height of the trees. I also needed some good advice on exactly what needed to be done as I had a pecan tree that was growing wildly because of a "topping off" that had been done previously. Neil Goss runs an excellent crew, knows about trees, and is very ethical in that he will not do something that is in NOT in the best interest of the trees and property owner, even if that is what the property owner wants to do. We came to an agreement on what he was going to do, he did it competently and with great care, and I was happy. We ended up calling him again after a particularly bad storm, to do some cleanup and trimming and had the same wonderful experience. I would recommend Goss Tree Service to anyone. They have all the equipment you could ever need, are fully insured, are competent, reliable and prompt.

Neil was wonderful to work with, giving an accurate estimate before the work was done, and everything was just as he explained it. The trees were removed as were all the clippings. We'll definitely be calling them out again for future work as needed.
