The date above is only approximate. I do not remember when I actually called the company. The technician arrived when they said he would though. He quickly diagnosed the problem with my washer as a faulty water valve. He told me that he had to go back to the shop to check the actual price but that most of them ran about $40.00 to $50.00. He said the office would call me back with the final price.
I did not hear from them the next day. So the day after that I called them. The lady told me that they had worked up the costs for me. I don't remember the exact amounts she quoted. However, the total was a little over $200.00. Turns out there is a hot water valve and a cold water valve and apparently I needed both of them. I'm not sure if they were actually both bad or if the technician just could not isolate which specific one was causing the problem.
I declined for them to fix it because the machine is 15 years old and I did not want to put that much money into it. I assumed they would send me a bill for the original service call, but so far they have not.
Overall I thought they did a good job.

He fixed part of the problem, but not all of the problem. He came to repair my dryer that was not heating and fixed that, but at the same time, I told him that the timer would run out, but it would continue to tumble and he thought that what he did with the heat part would fix that because it would tell the dryer that the clothes were dry, so it would turn off, but it didn't. Anyway, we didn't call him back because we decided to replace the dryer.

Repaired two leaking outdoor faucets.
Had a quote from a previous vendor that was for $500 EACH
Friendly, professional service.
Still no leaks!

We bought a brand-new free-standing oven-range for a new home and installed it after an electrician hired by the former owner had re-wired the 220 outlet to make it more "accessible". Unfortunately, it was wired wrong (wires were reversed) which basically blew out the controls. The stove was pretty high-dollar with a retail cost of $800+, and we knew it would not be a warranty issue since it was not the manufacturer's fault that the 220 plug was wired incorrectly. We called the "large national retailer" from whom we had purchased the stove...long story short, they did not show up for the service appt they scheduled (staff issues) and since we dearly wanted a working stove in our new home for the Thanksgiving holiday we started looking elsewhere. Cent-Tex Sales came recommended to us by another appliance repair service we called. I understand they do a lot of warranty work for local retailers, but they also respond to individuals who need repair service. Again, this was right before Thanksgiving...perhaps the Monday before. We placed a call, and they promised to work us in within a day...but they actually arrived within an hour! We got the diagnosis on-the-spot...that the controls were completely shot...but the service tech (Kevin) was so professional and empathetic that it made hearing that bad news much more bearable. He told us upfront that the repair would be expensive - perhaps $300 (mostly the part itself) - and it would have to be ordered...but he promised to do his best. The next day Cen-Tex called to confirm the estimate (even though we had said we would pay the "ballpark" figure) and make sure we were still willing to have the work done. They placed the order for the part...unfortunately, it didn't arrive next-day (Wednesday), and we just worked out for them to install the part the following week. The install was quite simple, and we were charged only for one service tech trip, even though Kevin had been out to diagnose and to repair. He was very thorough to not only fix our oven-range but also to offer tips on cleaning the glass-top range and some info on the oven that our appliance salesman had not mentioned. We were SO pleased with Cen-Tex...they are 100% professional, thorough, responsive, and communicative. The prices are totally fair, and I wouldn't think to use anyone else if they can service what I might need in the future. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
