Yolanda's Cleaning Service

I wrote about another cleaning service and how disappointed
I was in their service (see other reviews by member). I should have written on
others like Earthwise, Honey Bee, and others I just chose to forget about but I
didn't. I grew up with maids all my life (live in and weekly visits) so I do
know what I am talking about and that is the clean I am looking for. There is a
difference between looking clean and being clean - huge difference. The house
has to have an ambiance of clean and most important smell clean not just wiped
down. When you walk into a room do you think “ok it’s clean” or when walking
into a room do you say “Ahh, my house is clean” you can feel it inside ya, it
looks and smells clean. Wiping down something doesn’t make it clean, it just
takes off the dust or mopping with “earth” products doesn’t mean it is clean.
If I can see streaks in some areas, you can guarantee they are in other areas,
there shouldn’t be streaks well after something is dry. Move your hand over the
surface is it clean or chalky? What I have found is the “housecleaning”
companies are just hiring people to just go out and clean which leads to
and quot;doing the minimaland quot; and sometimes it’s not their fault, they’re doing
what they are told to do go out and make something look clean.. Just because a
place states they are a cleaning service doesn't mean they know how to clean
correctly. I had services leave streaks, corners of the floor dirty, windows
undone, and the biggest one I DOESN'T SMELL CLEAN, it doesn't smell like I just
dropped a hundred dollars on a house I wanted clean. Just to give you some perspective
on the cost a team coming into clean in McAllen would set you back about
$45.00. Come into San Antonio and I have yet to find anyone less than a hundred
so I am very (a.) retentive about the service I receive.
Now for Yolanda’s Cleaning Service. Yolanda is focused,
determined and understands clean. Her group of ladies come in and get to
business. They clean – Everything. The way cleaning is supposed to be. They
move things and clean under them, they wipe down the baseboards (in the ads so
many companies say they will do it but they don’t and others do but only a wipe
down not clean). They are thorough, they made beds, picked up after my kids, straighten
things up putting things in order (bathroom and night stand) throw out trash,
etc. I can’t say enough. Yes I know that she is expensive and trust me I would
never ever pay other cleaning companies what she charges but that just shows
how good of a job they do. I walk into my house and I say “Ahh, my house is
clean” and I get that feeling inside of happiness …. that it is until my kids
get home and mess it up.
I can’t say enough about Yolanda and what she has accomplished,
she’ll tell you if you ask. Her whole company is focused on cleaning not just
homes but in other areas in the market place (hoarders, forensic cleaning, de-cluttering,
etc.) meaning she has extensive training and isn’t limited to dirty homes this
girl works hard – and that is why she is good.

They are reliable, efficient, very thorough and very good in their service.

I spoke with Yolanda about the job. She looked it over and quoted me the price. This was higher than I had been paying but the difference in the quality of work is huge. She provided me with her pamphlet outlining what I could expect from her team and she has not disappointed. She checks back with me to make certain that I am getting what I need.

I feel as though it is money well spent.
