"When we bid this job we offered Mr. [Member Name Removed]: 1) an immmaculate manicure at a rate of $1050/day. It was all inclusive i.e. cleanup, haul off and dump fees. We would provide four workers and estimated 2 days. 2) Hourly, with the same number of workers, at $100/hour. He would have the final say as to when to stop. This was also all inclusive i.e. clean up, haul off, and dump fees. 3)A set rate (the price range of his choosing) which would also include clean up, haul off, and dump fees. For the figures that he gave us to work with the resulting job order was to raise the canopy, clean dead stuff and suckers from the canopy down, and also raise the canopy on his neighbor's trees that overhung onto his yard. If we'd not utilized the entire 8 hours, we'd continue cleaning upwards as time allowed. Ground clean up is always done throughout the entire day to ensure that we never leave a mess behind when the job is finished. We do understand that he spoke with the both of us, individually, at different times and can appreciate that there was more than enough room for misunderstanding on his side, and ours. We truly regret any disappointment that Mr.[Member Name Removed] may have with our company and will strive to make sure that we are very explicit from here on out. We give you our apologies, Mr. [Member Name Removed]."

He took the time to explain to me what he was going to do and how he was going to trim the tree. He also answered my questions very professionally and explained why he was going to do the cutting in that manner.
I would definitely use his services again on my other properties, and recommend him to all my friends and whoever needs Tree Trimming work. As far the price goes, for the size of my tree I thought it was very adequate and reasonable. I had no problems paying for such a job well done.

I emailed Quality Tree Service based on the recommendations of others on Angie's List. Boy, did THAT ever pay off!! The following morning, James and his brother came to look at my trees and give an estimate for cutting down and removing two fully mature oak trees. I was quoted a price of $600 to remove each tree - $1,200 total. The following day, James returned, cut down and hauled away the first tree...in the rain. My neighbor said it poured and James never stopped cutting. Amazing! When I got home that evening, the tree was gone..as if it had never been there. It was a HUGE tree!!
I was very impressed with the quality of James' work. He is highly skilled and obviously takes great pride in his work...which was performed quickly and cleanly with no mess left behind. Everything was clean and blown...heck, my yard was cleaner when he left that it was when he arrived!!
But, what impressed me even more was when he said that after carefully inspecting the other oak tree, it was in fine condition and really only needed to be trimmed and shaped...it was very, very over grown. The cost for that would be $300 instead of $600. It certainly would have been to his financial advantage to have the $600 and I would have never known the difference. It looks like a completely different tree now!! I used the $$ he saved me to have the other trees in my back yard trimmed and shaped...at my suggestion, not his.
My neighbor was so impressed with the speed and quality of James' work, he hired him on the spot to take care of a tree in his front yard.
I could not make a stronger recommendation for Quality Tree Service. Quality work. Ethical business practices. Prompt, affordable service. What more could one ask for?
