Flooring
Mr. Flores and the men working with him were very particular about their work. They prepped the concrete subfloor with the manufacturer's recommended 2 part epoxy moisture barrier. They laid the floor and cleaned the epoxy glue off the flooring as they went. We purchased CaliBamboo Wide Plank flooring. After they installed it, there were no hollow sounding planks or creaking boards...they used the manufacturers recommended trowel size for the application of the glue. The floor turned out beautiful and we are very happy with the installation. I will post photos soon...
We had a bad experience with another floor contractor(Rockholt Hardwood Floors) who had started the job and laid approximately 550 square ft in another part of our home...that will be a separate review. We were so very blessed that our new general contractor, John Alsup, found Tony Flores to finish the remaining 1250 something square ft. Based on our experience with Mr. Flores and the men that worked with him installing our CaliBamboo flooring, we would highly recommend them. They impressed us as being very skilled, very knowledgeable and truly cared about doing a good job for us.
