Texas Pro Moving & Packing Company

I had everything packed and all furniture taken apart ready to move. The move took about 4 hours which was fine. They broke about $500 worth of furniture and kitchenware. They pilled boxes on top of each other with the heavy one on top and they all tipped over. Antique plates were broke that were given to me by my mother 30 years ago before she died. They broke a leg on my dining room set now I'll have to buy 4 new chairs. All this is upsetting but what is more upsetting is how the owner has told me for 2 weeks they are coming over to return you some money and to have someone repair your furniture. The owner, David told me 7 times that he would be coming over and never showed up. It's one thing to break someone's furniture but to be lied too is very upsetting. On their website they state they are honest and trustworthy but that is totally untrue. I have witnesses that heard the owner say he was coming over so I would wait and he never should up. DO NOT use this moving company if you don't want your items broken and you want to hire a company that is honest!

Owner Dave Hall was really helpful and prompt to return phone call.  However, the 3 movers who came out and move on 3/22/14 has much to be desired.  Was not very careful with my furniture, and damage some of them even after I told them to be careful.  Took their time to do things.  Broke some glassware because one of the movers were careless, then try to blame it on the box.  I'm just thankful they didn't drop my piano.  They also didn't have a toll tag so we have to drive VERY slowly along the service road of the Dallas Toll Way North going South.  At $75/hr, you get what you pay for.
