Pool Construction and Installation
He did not build per contract date deadlines and he would always say he is coming to perform another step on the build and never arrive..
Contracted to build pool in 4 payment increments based on completion of the 4 steps.
He would always try and get money before steps were completed...Im sure he was using my money to finance
his other jobs.
All was going okay up until after the gunite was poured.
Came up with several excuses as why the plaster was not done....when it was he used the CONCRETE contractors
to help him with the plaster...They are NOT plasterer's ...Didnt even cover the guinite completely left NUMEROUS rough
spots throughout he pool...and on the last 3rd of plastering the pool they used a different shade of plaster...Now I have 3/4 pool one shade a blue and the other a different blue......And they only laid ONE COAT of plaster NOT 2.
He said he will be back to seal it with CLEARCOAT...I came home to see him PAINTING the pool blue...That was NOT the deal
As he was on the 4 section of the pool the last can of paint he used was ANOTHER SHADE OF BLUE !!! and he continued painting it !!! So again I have 3/4 one color and the other another shade....
I discussed that his shoddy work and the re-plaster properly is expected and he will have to re-do during winter when pool not in use since he fell so FAR behind buils schedule.....
A day later we started filling pool with water and I pointed out all the faults wich were NUMEROUS...The only equipment he installed was the sand filter...NOT the heater nor salt system...After I few days of not seeing nor hearing from him I asked when he was going to complete the equipment install because thats all that was needed to finish pool...He expalined he has to wait for the water to stabilize first...wich is bull...I confirned this step with 2 pool places....I have NOT heard from him since He waill not return calls or messages......My next step after finishing this review is LAWSUIT !!!!! I estimate for the proper repairs and unfurnished equipment he got me for about 8000.00
