Went to dealership, explained that I was changing the fuel filter and needed replacement clips, as the old ones broke when removing old filter. They looked up part by my VIN. They asked if I needed both and I saiid yes. Said to come back in 2 hrs and they'd have them. Picked up new parts in 2 hrs, went home and found one didn't fit. After calling and being on the phone another 20 min, and the parts mgr talking to the mechanic he found out they sold me 2 of the same clip but each clip on this car is different. They said they'd exchange it and to come back at 8:30 AM the next day. I went to p/u at 9AM but they had "forgotten" to order the clip. Told me to come back later and they would call me when it was there. "Might" be 2 hrs, maybe longer. In the meantime my car is on the street, disabled, and on ramps and I have to go to work in the vehicle! Terrible customer service!

They're very good. They did an excellent job. Weeks prior to that, they cleaned it thoroughly. Most of the time, I have to leave my car if it has to be serviced. They're very accommodating. I think they're pretty good.

They are awesome! They are great! We love them. I wouldn't go anywhere else to get my oil change or any service on my car. I trust them. In fact, we got both of our vehicles from them. I was there for 3 hours for my first oil change, and I have addressed this with the manager and they are working on it. With the last oil change, they cut the time in half because I majorly complained. They said that they know that that's their worst quality complaint and that is what they are working on fixing. I don't think they have perfected it yet. For busy moms, 3 hours is a long time for an oil change especially when you go to those Quick Lube, you can get it done in 15 minutes, but I know they do it right.

Done in a timely fashion. The provider has its hurry lane open and all one has to do is show up and get quick maintenance work done. Works well and the work is good.

I had a wreck on 9/25/13 about a mile from this dealership and had my vehicle towed there. On the same day the insurance adjuster did his estimate.This is the dealership that I have used for 15-20 years. All my repairs and I had all of my company vehicles delivered through them. Now on 10/7/13(42 days) they still have not repaired my vehicle. I have not received one phone call from them explaining the delay. I have been in a rental car for this entire time. The insurance company picked up the cost for the first 30 days and I am out of pocket for the last 12 days and however long this continues to drag on.
Needless to say, I will never use this dealership for anything again.

This was my second visit to the Planet 45 Ford Service Center. You know the saying, "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." While my first visit was somewhat less than satisfactory (See earlier review) the second visit was downright awful. Dropped my other vehicle off for a simple oil change and tire rotation and was quoted an approximately 90 minute turn-around. I kind of expected this since it was a Saturday morning. The vehicle was finally finished nearly 3 hours later. During my first visit I complained that none of the service advisors reviewed the vehicle inspection report with me. During my second visit I wasn't even provided with a vehicle inspection report. After I got home and took a good look at the receipt I noticed that they had put a comment on the receipt stating that, "Brakes require immediate attention." I consider brakes to be a pretty important part of the vehicle, and I'm truly surprised that I was allowed to drive my vehicle home with sub-standard brakes without a single word of caution or advice to have the brakes serviced. (My brakes are being repaired today using another auto service provider with stellar reviews here on Angie's List!)

I did have a couple of concerns that I pointed out during the follow-up satisfaction call from the Service Manager. The service advisor had failed to review the vehicle condition report with me following the service, and the vehicle was not parked where I was told it would be which resulted in a bit of a scavenger hunt. These concerns were promptly addressed; A+ for communication and customer follow-up!!

I was driving down I-10 and all of the sudden, I started slowing down and the RPM's started going up. The engine was still on, but I had no power. I had it towed to Planet Ford, and they serviced it.
Essentially, it was the transmission (I think that they said it was the "torque converter"). I'm not a mechanic, but they were very nice, and had it completed within 24 hours and I was pleased.
Since then I've noticed some light smoke coming from under the hood. I have called for another appointment and we'll see how that one goes.

I thought it was a very good diagnosis and a very fair one. I bought a Ford Van and it had rusted. They said that they had to replace the whole fuel pump and gas tank because it had rusted and needed replacement. I thought it was a fair assessment. I decided to sell the van. They gave me a quote of how much it was going to cost which was $3,000.00 or $4,000.00 dollars. I didn't have a problem with that, I just didn't want to spend that kind of money. I had paid $2,800.00 for the van and had gotten 100,000 miles out of it and had taken 3 long trips and I got my money's worth. I was satisfied. I have taken my van there before and I felt like the service was prompt and they were courteous and I felt like what they charge is reasonable. I plan to use them again if I get another Ford van.

To begin, the service was very expensive compared to what I have been used to in the past. I am still not sure if I really needed to replace the rotors, but, given the age and mileage on my truck, I decided to go ahead with their advice. On my air suspension issue, they "fixed" it only to have it fail again less than a month later. Needless to say, I didn't take it back to Planet but to another dealer. The other dealer (Freeway) fixed the leak, and they also commented that the relay that was changed at Planet should never be changed alone. Every time it's removed, a small harness leading to the air lines should be replaced as well. Guess what, that harness was the source of my problem the entire time.
