Wesley, who works at this place is very unprofessional and I would not recommend dealing with this company. I consulted with this company about correcting a drainage issue at a rent house I own and Wesley was my point of contact. He explained to me that he estimates that the job will take about 2 hrs. I explained to him that I wasn’t sure what the problem was but I needed to surely get it corrected so that it will not reoccur while I have a renter in the home. He seemed as though he understood the urgency of the circumstance and assured me that they would get there, troubleshoot the problem, then inform me of what the issue and cost will be to correct the problem. After that initial phone call, Wesley and his team did not communicate with me at all. What they did do was do UNKNOWN work regarding my outside drainage that he nor his team communicated with me about. I called my renter to get updated on if they had found out what the problem was and he informed me that they’d left and that the bathtub was still having drainage issues and worse than before. At this point I called Wesley and he informed me that my bill was $798 first before he even mentioned what they did and that the worker said the field line has issues that will prevent drainage even though he fixed a damaged part of the pvc pipe. The key thing here is that the problem is not corrected and there was no communication about how much it would cost to correct the problem, but he was clear in his communication about the bill and that the problem isn’t fixed….go figure. Keep in mind, I was adamant that the problem needs to be CORRECTED… I have a renter in the home. I cannot make this stuff up. Yes, it was that bad and unprofessional and that predatory. I asked how is he wanting to charge me $798 for work that did not correct the problem and why wouldn’t he have communicated with me about what the issue was and what it would cost to fix, kind of how normal business is handled. At this point he rudely and aggressively said “hope you find a better plumber next time!”, and hung up on me. I was not being rude or disrespectful while asking these questions. So in a nutshell; I was very clear about that I needed the plumbing issue corrected regarding drainage at my home, he told me he estimated that the job would take 2 hrs but if his workers get out there and anticipate more that he’d communicate that before moving forward….instead he nor his workers communicated, did unknown work that did NOT correct the problem, then attempt to collect pay for it, then rudely hang up on me when I questioned why he didn’t correspond with me about the job status and cost confirmation. I even have an email from this guy admitting that he hung up on me…..so not only is he rude, he isn’t the most intuitive person. The bottom line is that he does bad business. I hope this long review prevents anyone else from such a bad and unfair experience. He’s currently emailing me now almost debating with me because he knows he’s wrong. Maybe this guy has some emotional issues that need to be addressed but no customer deserves what I got. I am currently reporting him and his company to the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners so they will know how this company did business with me and take appropriate actions. P.S. Fair customer who got treated like crap

I needed a vent stack installed because I was adding a shower to my bathtub. (I was having a hip replacement so the shower was a need, not a want.) Apparently the original stack from 1933 wasn't installed correctly. My contractor had the walls opened up, and he asked me to call a plumber to do this. I called Neches. They came promptly but refused the job. They told me the boss wouldn't allow them to work on "pre-existing plumbing". Does that make sense? Isn't most plumbing pre-existing? My contractor did install 4 ft of new pipe, and we didn't have a problem if they wanted to re-install that 4 ft, but they refused to do anything. (Prior to coming, they said over the phone that they didn't want to get on my roof, which is steep, because it was raining and I asked them if they couldn't at least look at the job or start on it.) I wrote the company a courteous letter in which I said I'd recommended them previously, and didn't understand why they wouldn't work on my plumbing. I gave them my phone number to call me, and they never did. I am very disappointed.
Description of Work: Until recently, I liked Neches Plumbing. They appeared to be prompt, courteous, honest, and reasonably priced for plumbers. I used them for two previous plumbing issues (leaky drain pipe under the house and a clog) and recommended them to two of my friends. Unfortunately, things change.

Arrived on time and very personable and professional. The price was a little more than was expected but with the quality of work performed, I didn't have a problem with it. I would definitely recommend.
