SHERRIE R.
Nov 2014
The guy was unprofessional from the beginning. He walked around the townhome quickly, seemingly with disinterest. The townhome had upgrades, a new A/C, and a view that his comps did not have. He appraised the property for 6% less than the sales price. He used comps with a lower price and did not include interior photos of the comps. It seemed he did little work for his $375. There were multiple offers for this townhouse at the asking price and there was another townhouse under contract at the same price. The realtor told him there were multiple offers for that townhouse as well and was willing to show him the full price appraisal. The lender asked for a review and they came back with the same appraisal with no explanation.
