I called Kenneth and asked when he was coming back to continue work on the deck and he said he'd be there the next morning and he was and he did almost finish and then disappeared again for a week or more and once again I had to call him to find out what was going on...he said he'd be there and finish the deck and within a few days he did finish the deck and collected the rest of the $$ for the deck AND more so that he could buy materials for the roof, my mom paid him what he asked for.... THEN----this is VERY IMPORTANT...he shows up at my mom's home a few days later and tells her he will need to make ANOTHER draw because the metal for the roof is more than he expected it to be and my mom gives him more $$. Again we don't hear a word from him for about TWO MONTHS ( CRAZY!!!), even after MANY, MANY ,MANY unanswered and unreturned phone calls from my mom, finally I call and verbally let him have it, tell him to bring ALL materials to my mom's house and refund her the money he has collected for work he has yet to do and he assures me that he will be there in the morning and the work will be finished that week...I stupidly believe him and say ok....we just want this nightmare to be over with!!!! He does show up at mom's the next day, does about an hours worth of work and then tells her he will need one more draw so he can pay his help and like a fool mom gives him the $$, he drives away with the $$ and we have never see or hear from him again. All in all he SCREWED my mom out of approximately $4100.00...this is a 72 year old woman that he robbed blind. She should not have given him all the money he asked for but he ALWAYS showed up when I could not be there and tell him to forget it. Kenneth Langley was very convincing in his intentions and will convince you he will be there and do the work...HE WON'T, don't be fooled. This man is a criminal, nothing less. We have all learned a valuable lesson and this will NEVER NEVER happen.
