Emilio Flores is a true craftsman and professional. His communication is superb, and he is timely, efficient, and friendly. I found Emilio through a smaller list of contractors known to have worked on historic homes, and was very pleased with him from the start.
Understated and humble, his woodworking is top-rate -- he uses mortise & tenon joint and half lap joints in his wooden screens -- and they are so perfectly aligned, that you can't see any seams on our new screens.
He explained every step of the process, gave us a realistic timeline, various style options, and pricing -- and he was early or on time for every stage. The finished product is even better than we had imagined -- and they not only look gorgeous, but we are excited to leave our windows open as the weather warms up, knowing we won't have any insects coming into our home.

We are also hiring him to build matching screen doors for the same house, and to build screens for our other 1920s bungalow.
