Initially, this was a very good experience. The problems occured after the floor was installed and the first coat of sealer was applied. We found there were several spots on the floor that had not been properly sanded and the floor was not cleaned well before the sealer was applied. There was actually string and debris that had been sealed over. The crew returned and corrected the spots that I had marked, but they took no initiative in checking the floor themselves. They returned again and applied a second coat of sealer, and the owner even said he would come back an apply a third coat of sealer just for good will. When I later got a copy of his contract with the general contractor, I discovered that the third coat of sealer was part of his original agreement. The final frustration came when the crew returned to apply the third coat of sealer. They put down the sealer, but one of them let our dog into the house, so when I returned home the dog had not only left tracks in the wet sealer, but she had tracked it onto the laminate flooring in the bedrooms. After several weeks of calling, and getting empty promises, one worker finally showed up and put a little sealer over the dog prints on the hard wood. He did nothing to remove the tracks on the laminate. We've tried everything we can think of to remove the prints on the laminate.  Although David keeps telling us he's going to find a way to remove them, we are not hopeful that he will call back.
