Custom Tile & Marble

Went awful. Robert Bustos the owner of Custom Tile& Marble found my husband and I at floor and Decor. We were looking for some tile for a home we had recently bought. He went to our home gave us an estimate with a 2 week maximum time frame. So we signed a contract where we buy the tile, carpet, and padding. He covers everything else needed. My husband leaves the state to go work and I with no experience in this field of home improvements was left in charge of working with Robert. The job ended up lasting 6 weeks and he didn't even finish the job. We gave him 1/2 the money to begin the work on the home ASAP it was unoccupied and ready for construction. He only showed up 2 days for demo in removing carpet and laminate floors the 1st week. He later calls asking for more $ stating that the concrete is really un level and has to many cracks so he can not begin work. When the agreement was from the beginning he could cover any issues based on the concrete. So we unfortunately gave him the $. Then the 2nd week goes by the only thing he did was supposedly fill the cracks in and add a certain concrete like substance to level the floors, which never really did. So we begin to call him asking what's going on. He claims he has family emergencies when we had hired him because he claimed to have varies crews working for him. He then stated he didn't let his guys work with out his supervision. Then 3rd week goes by only installs about 10 x 5 feet of tile but the rest of the house is not even touched. We ask him why he states that it has been raining during the week and he doesn't let his guys work when raining because of electrical hazards. This is a fully built home all work is taking place indoors so where exactly is the hazard? Well on the 4th week he assures us the work will begin that he's guys were finishing a previous home. The only change was a few more pieces of tile were installed in the living room. Our living room is only 13 x 15 feet. Then 5th week
