Property Appraisal
We bought this house for $156,000. Capitol Appraisal Services appraised this house at $160,000--nearly 42% over actual value. The home turned out to be nothing more than a 30 year old mobile home and they over appraised it by $65,000. The actual value is only $95,000. Everyone involved in the process of this home purchased was involved in this fraudulent scam. We truly believe this appraiser purposely made such a huge increase in the appraisal so that the Bank could fund the loan. Also he did not mention that this Home is actually a 30 year old Mobile Home and compared his value to stick built Homes. Banks do not finance 30 year old Mobile Homes.
