Everything there was a very nice experience. The facility was immaculate. The staff was very friendly, professional, courteous and very attuned to the animal. All the way around it was a good experience. They were very informative. They took time to explain things and did a very thorough job of checking over our dog. I'm very happy that I chose them and maybe going back. They told me if my dog didn't like the joint supplement that I could bring it back and they would refund the money. It was very considerate and it wasn't like they were trying  to sell you the world.

Dr, Lauri Jehl is simply the best. My wife and I have been taking our dogs to her for over 15 years, and we have never been anything but impressed with the service she provides. She is knowledgable, professional, and compassionate, and the staff she has assembled at Alamo Hill Animal Hospital is top notch. We're almost never kept waiting when we arrive for an appointment, and certainly never more than 5 minutes. At the same time, Dr. Jehl never seems to be in a rush to move on to the next patient. She takes time to explain her diagnosis and her suggested treatment, as well as other treatment options we might consider (and why). She genuinely cares about our pet's welfare and is committed to helping us keep her healthy. More than once, we've run into trouble while traveling with our pet and have phoned her from out of state to ask for advice. Always she's phoned back personally within the hour and given us useful advice without charging a penny -- in fact she refused payment when offered. As well, we take copies of our dog's records with us when we travel, and I can tell you that Dr. Jehl keeps meticulous, detailed records. Everything is kept on the computer and she simply sends us a pdf of the entire file. As for her prices, I think they're more than reasonable. What I can tell you is that if she doubled the price, I'd still keep going to her. I only wish I could find a General Practitioner for humans that's is as capable and communicative as Dr. Jehl.
