I think this company was under a similar but different name when I used them. I remember when I hired them they had more ratings than just one. They had a coupon on Angie's List for painting/drywall repair. I called them and told them I was interested in purchasing the deal and was looking to see if he had time available soon because I needed to get this job done. He said he did and that he would honor the same deal Angie's List was offering. He said Angie's List took a while to pay him from those deals so I decided to just get the same deal without going through Angie's List.
The way this guy operates is he comes out and gives you a bid on the work and sends someone else to do the work and you pay the painter/drywaller and he gets his cut from the worker at another time. He never came back to check on the work or see how his guy did which would be fine if the work that was performed was somewhat decent but the drywall job that was done was the most awful drywalling I have ever seen. If I would have known it was going to be that bad I would have done it myself. The worker (name was Clamente) did not tape and float it correctly at all and on just about every seam you can see the tape. He did not fill several screw holes with the mud and the whole place looked like a disaster. It was very frustrating because you can spend a lot of money on framing, plumbing and electrical and if the drywall looks bad then the whole place looks like it was cheaply done.
I texted Michael the owner and he told me that he would send someone back out to fix it and the same guy came back and made it look a little better but it still looked really bad. Michael never came out to see the quality of work his workers were doing.
The only way it could have been fixed correctly is if all the drywall tape was taken off and reapplied.
