Steve came out and gave me a quote to repair a crack in our pool along with re-coating the whole pool. I wrote my check on 1/31/2018 and it was cashed on 2/1/2018. At first everything was going ok, then he ghosted me. I got a text on 2/3 saying it started raining and he'll try again on Monday. Next text was 2/8 apologizing for the rain delay and he was on his way; he never showed up or bothered to call/text. I called saying I would be talking to my lawyer and he texts me saying his brother had a heart attack and he was in Oklahoma. (That was on 2/12/18.) It is now 3/7/18 and still haven't gotten any texts, phone calls... I have sent emails and left messages with his answering service and still no response back. I also found out he blocked my husband's and my phone number on 2/12/18 (iMessage isn't going through only getting delivered through text and any time we called it went straight to voicemail. But if I used a friend's phone the call would ring) Not only am I out the whole amount he quoted us; I'm left without knowing what was exactly done and we now have a huge bubble we have to deal with with because of him.
