When I told him other vets didn't charge extra to have prescriptions filled somewhere else, he said that I was welcome to take my dog somewhere else. He basically said he's not going to do anything for free "like sending a rx somewhere else" was the long and the short of it. He's a great vet as far as the vet part goes but be prepared to pay for every little thing. I'll be forced to pay the $13 this time but when my dog is due for shots again I will be going somewhere else.

Everything went very well. The vet and the tech were very friendly, went over everything in detail, and asked if we had any questions. Our dog is not the friendliest, but they were able to befriend him. They notified us once the surgery had been completed and how everything had went. When we picked him up, they explained all of the after care needs and possible complications and what we needed to do. The vet is very knowledgeable an very friendly.

We have used them for forty years. There was no charge last time as it was a follow up for a dental surgery that was done. We think they are great.

Our groomer found a mass in one of our dogs' abdomen. We took him to our vet immediately; three tumors were found; one had positive cytology. Surgery was performed the next morning and all three tumors successfully removed. Our "old guy"; who is eight, has recovered beautifully. We have used this veterinary practice for 23 years(with a 3 year hiatus due to military assignment) and have been through good and bad times with five dogs. Dr. Weir has performed major surgery on two of our dogs and minor procedures on all the others. One of our rescued German Shepherds had severe orthopedic and and eye problems. He referred us to specialists in both cases who performed surgery and increased our pet's quality and length of life. Dr. Weir feels it is his job to be the animal's advocate and insure the best possible diagnosis and care. He is meticulous and does not hesitate to perform the necessary labs and tests to reach a diagnosis and determine treatment. We feel his fees are merited by the quality of care received and the result that our dogs, all but one of whom were rescued, enjoyed long and productive lives.

They have intensive care for acute condition, treatment and hospital care. Overall procedure and services were very satisfactory. I will use them in future.
