ART PAINTING & REMODELING

I was so impressed by Art and Tony's work that I kept expanding the scope of my projects. They are excellent craftsmen who take pride in their work and ensure everything is perfect. I enjoyed having them at my house. I hired them to replace trim, repair rotten wood and paint facia in coordination with my roofer (Yuras Roofing). Then I had him install siding. Then I asked them to paint the exterior of my house. Then I asked them to install doors, windows, siding and rehab a 2nd story cedar deck. Every project was perfect. I'm very happy. After 35 years of home ownership I finally found a painter, remodeler and carpenter I want to use again and again.

Rotting window and door trim was replaced, and additional trim added to create a consistent look front and back. He replaced a badly rotting wooden exterior door with an upgraded metal door - expertly installed. The entire home required re-caulking...not a single joint was overlooked. He completed the entire job with a two color exterior paint personally selected - the home now looks better than new. He was reliable, courteous always, and spot on time. Finally, his pricing, compared to several others, was extremely reasonable. I was so impressed that I gave him a bonus for the job. Sound too good to be true? Try him - he comes with my unconditional and highest recommendation. I will make sure the folks at Randolph AFB know about him.

I have used him for the last 15 years. I think some of the things that I like most about him is his attention to detail. He painted my whole house last year and then when I had hail damage they had to repair the chimney and that had to be waterproofed, primed and painted.

Both he and his wife came from Poland and went through the process of becoming US Citizens and have been pretty much been like members of my family along with my sisters and have gone to Christmas dinners with us because he is a worthwhile individual.

Art Dymek, the owner, performed the work himself along with one employee, Tony. From the start, Art was very professional and arrived when he said he would to give us a quote. The work took about four and one-half days. They carefully prepped including caulking, scraping and sealing next to the brick. They painted using brushes and rollers (no sprayers). The carpentry work was especially well done. We were very pleased with the results of the painting. Art and Tony were very pleasant to work with, the house looks great, and we would definitely hire them again.

Arthur came and gave me an estimated and explained what he could do. They showed up on time and worked every day. They did a good, neat job. The price was very fair, and Arthur was extremely responsive. For example, I didn't like the color I picked for my trim once it was up. He wanted to make me happy and helped me find a better solution and he re-did it with a new color. He listens and responds and works with a small, reliable crew (one other person). I am very happy with the work he did. He took care of things in a professional way.

In the fall, we had the exterior of our house painted, and we received four estimates before deciding on Mr. Dymek. It took a week to complete the work. The house was power washed, and after it dried the house was painted one color and the trim a different color. The tile work was done during this week as well. All the work was done on time and everything was cleaned up nicely when they were finished. Mr. Dymek was on time each day, and did a lot of preparation before painting our home. We would recommend his work, as he did an excellent job with our house.
