Walker Heating & Cooling

Terrible customer service! This company does not understand what it means to operate in East Texas. A service gentleman came to our house and tested the system with a device that acts as a thermostat, we were told the problem was only with our thermostat and that it needed to be replaced (Without plugging in the thermostat). We were told they do not install thermostats, unless it is one they provide (they were very expensive). We installed the thermostat and still not heat. We had an electrician look at the system who told us it was in fact the HVAC system and specifically the transformer. I called Walker Heating and Air to see if they could waive their $79.99 service call fee because the problem was the transformer i.e the HVAC unit. The employee I spoke with told me there was no way the problem was the transformer when they were there and they could not help. I advised that I would have no problem calling another heating and air company to fix the problem but wanted to give them a chance since the problem was in fact with the HVAC system and they had already been out there. He told me to call someone else. I highly recommend using anyone other than Walker Heating and Air for your heating and air needs.

They are very fast but they are very expensive.? If you want someone who need quick service, they are very good.? Like my neighbor who had 2 babies and guess that's why she loves them and recommends them.? But if your not in that much of a hurry I rather find someone else that doesn't charge that much.

It was performed quick with the technician explaining what he was doing.

From the initial visit to the very last visit the guys were professional and efficient. I loved the fact that they did their own electrical work and I didn't have to hire another contractor. They put down rugs to keep from messing up our floors and they cleaned up after themselves.

Arrived as scheduled, completed semi-annual furnace inspection (I have a yearly contract) and checked thermostat that had actually been installed the previous week.

They did a great job.  The vendor offers a year guarantee/warranty of install and the unit has a separate warranty.  We were very pleased with the time Mr. Walker took to walk around the house, measure, ask questions.  He went above and beyond to make sure we would be happy.

I had Walker Heating and Cooling come out to check my system when it quit working last week.  I had been having some problems with it, so I knew it was about to die.  The service technician was on time and very professional.  He discussed my options on fixing my system and helped me set an appointment with Dustin Walker (owner) the next day for detailed pricing on a new system.  Dustin came to my home asked a lot of questions about the heating and cooling in my home.  He really tried to find out what we needed in a Heat/AC system.  He had extensive knowledge of my Trane system and recommended Trane again.  He then went out to his truck and prepared a printed bid with several options for efficiency and costs that would meet my needs and my budget.  The next day I called to have them install the equipment.  They sent an express courier to Dallas to pick up the equipment and were at my house at 2:00 on a Friday afternoon to start my installation.  The crew worked until the job was done around 8:00 pm and they cleaned up after themselves perfectly.  The following Monday, Dustin came out to inspect the work and go over the system with us.  This was a 1st rate experience.  It was great doing business with a group that was professional and prompt.  Moreover, when Dustin handed us the bill, it was less than we expected.  I'm a teacher...and I give Dustin Walker and his staff an A+!!!
