TruGreen Lawn Care - 5093

After less than a year of service I had to re-seed areas of my yard to get the grass to grow back. They sent technicians to my home for servicing, even when I requested that they do not send unless I was home. (This was due to an incident where a charge created, yet no technician ever came to my house) I then requested that they cancel my services and they still kept sending technicians to my house, running up a higher bill. In the end they are stating they are reporting me to collections because i refuse to pay for the remainder of the balance. This company has done me wrong twice now, in two different locations. It is amazing how companies such as these can take advantage of honest people. I am a veteran and I served my country for 19 years. I believe in giving back to the community, but I refuse to be the sheep.

We had a supervisor come out because the chemicals were not doing what we want them to do. Each time they come they charge you more it's very expensive. I have spent about 1000 on their services over the last year. My yard is nice and green and a lot of the deal is my neighbor has a beautiful yard he has done his self.  Mine has not come up to par with his and the last time the service provider was here I told them I was not satisfied. They have been working on the yard for 18 months to two years and I am not satisfied. I may be tougher than most but it has not come up to what I was expecting for the money I have spent. When they come out and I am not home they do not do my back yard as they do not have access so I have to call them to come back.  You know I cant put it all on the guys shoulders that came out to apply. But he is very knowledgable of his product. They have good customer service when they come and are always polite. The Supervisor needs to come out and see what needs to be done and formulate a specific way to do it because it has not done it's job.

They applied the lawn chemicals as described. First, they always do a reasonably good job and are always willing to come back and re-treat the lawn or take care of problems at no extra charge. However, the concern I have is that prices go up every year. Just got a notice that prices will rise 4% on 3/30/2015. They rose 5% last year and over 5% the year before that. It's getting to be quite an expensive service. I have already started to cut back on certain services and I might get some price quotes from some competitors to see how competitive TruGreens prices really are.

The experience was good but I did not have anything done. If I could afford it I would use them. They were supposed to take an existing deck off the house. He did a very thorough estimate and I like him.
