Tip Top Tree Services

The actual work this guy oversees (I don't think he does any of the work himself,  supervises the workers) is satisfactory, but dealing with him is a disaster. Will never use him again. Story below:
Had a property that needed trees trimmed and/or cut down. Someone told us how "cheap" this guy was. So we called him.  First thing he asks us, is "Have you gotten another bid? If so, I will do it for $150.00 less than anyone else". Tells us this without even looking at job. My partner persisted with him to look at job, then give us a price, which he did. Partner felt it was a very fair price, so we scheduled for him to do the job (this was Tuesday 11/21/2012) on Monday after Thanksgiving (November 26). We wanted to be there while he was doing the work, as this was a rental property.
I get a call on Friday, November 23, the day after Thanksgiving from the tenant telling me these guys are over cutting down the trees, limbs falling on his flowerpots and breaking some of them.
I called the tree guy, telling him the job was not supposed to be done until Monday, and he tells me I am wrong. He tells me the tenant living there is stupid, etc. Bottom line, I WOULD NEVER USE THIS GUY AGAIN.
He did complete the project with total satisfaction, but dealing with this type of person, I will never do again. Be prepared.

A good job  completed but he missed two appointments without notifying me.

I don’t know if I will use them again.  They were just in the neighborhood doing some trees and so I had them do mine too.  It will depend if I’m going to use them again or not.  Next time I will get quotes for doing the job.
