Contacted Scenic Lawns and Landscape re our needs as relates to lawn care. Jason came out to our home and wrote a quote for an annual contract, beginning November 2014, at a cost of $375 a month, included paying them $375 for 5 months during the winter when no work on the lawn was required. Beginning in the spring, and after months of having to weed the floor beds in our backyard and trim the bushes and ivy ourselves, my husband sent emails to Jason, asking them to please remember to weed all flower beds and trim the bushes and ivy. After a month of the weeds still not being maintained and only some of our bushes being trimmed, by husband sent Jason an email, referencing the contract he personally wrote himself and asked that they please adhere to the schedule. Jason's response was that he felt we needed to "part way", leaving us mid August with no lawn care service. Though he said we could forgo paying our July bill, that hardly makes up for the 5 months we paid during the winter and for the months of us having to weed and trim because they didn't. We are now doing our own lawn and have hired a landscape service to remove the dead trees and plants that SLand L were to remove but never got around to. Very disappointed that not only did they not adhere to the contract that they, themselves, wrote but to then quit when you were called on the carpet for not doing your job is unacceptable.

"I agree that we never could seem to get on the same page here with the schedule for shrub maintenance. But, there wasn't one email exchange - there were several (five or more) in which I did my best to mert your needs and make sure we completed any necessary concerns as quickly as possible. You do forget to mention that we continously attempted to go above and beyond at your home - including catching and/or killing snakes, putting out moth balls, and trimming trees among other things. We also replaced several dead azalea shrubs at no cost to you - even though we had nothing to do with their not surviving. Also, the cost included fertilization and weed control, which is a fairly expensive task. In the winter there was plenty to do at your home - and we were there almost every week unless weather did not allow cleaning leaves, pine needles, branches, pine cones, weedeating, and pulling weeds. I am sorry that you were not satisfied with our service, after many emails expressing this I felt it was better for us both to part ways. I do hope you have found someone to meeto your needs, you are both very nice people and I hate it ended the way it did."

These guys are amazing! I’ve had other lawn care services but none that have taken care of my lawn so well and let me know of problems that needed to be addressed. They go above and beyond! Anytime I’ve had a concern or thought something needed to be addressed I’ve either talked with one of them when they were here, email or texted and the problem was resolved, so communication is great. They are always very courteous and professional and listen to my concerns. My water billed spiked one month and they helped me track down the problem and that issue was resolved. They cleared some underbrush behind my house, trimmed bushes and hedges, mulched all my flowerbeds and planted a flowerbed they cleared out of plants I no longer wanted. I’m sure I’m forgetting something, these guys are great!
