My 2001 Toyota Highlander, with 173 K miles started making a really strange noise, then the transmission started slipping. Had it towed to Classic Toyota, where they quoted me a "factory rebuilt" transmission for the lovely price of 4900.00, with a wait time of 3 weeks before it would be in. Decided not to do this option. Researched on Angies List for different Transmission Shops. Nobles was on the top of my list after reading reviews, and looking at their website, and Facebook page. Called 3 different transmission shops in Tyler to hear my options, and decided to go with Nobles.
Nobles retrieved my vehicle from Classic Toyota, examined it, then told me the transmission was shot, and they could rebuild it. Nobles explained the entire process THOROUGHLY, pointing out some things that the two other shops did not point out. They gave me a price of 2500.00, told me when it would be completed, and all went exceptionally well.
After getting my vehicle back, a couple things did not feel right, so I called Nobles. Took the Toyota back to them, they looked at it immediately. Made a couple adjustments, apologized for me having to bring it back. No big deal. They are exceptionally professional, and I feel they stand by their work. Would definitely recommend them, as well as use them again.
