Montrose Concrete Inc.

Mr. Montrose came to my home as requested, discussed my needs for a new driveway, and provided an estimate. I agreed to the estimate and let his company do the work. They came in and did the job in a timely and professional manner for the agreed price.I will be using them again soon for some future jobs.

He did a perfect job and it came out great. We live on a sloping lot so this had to be done carefully with proper draining. He has been in busy for 30 years and knows concrete. He is superb at ti. For example, I asked him to if he could do the patio with a curve to it.  he said sure no problem we do it all the time and can make it look esthetically pleasing. He said we could also do a border that has concrete with brick on the sides. I said I do not want brick back there so I asked if he could do a brick like look.  He said sure we do that all the time.  They used a stamping and spaying technique. He gave me pictures and addresses to go look at looks like that. The man was fantastic. He showed us good ideas and suggestions but not at all pushy. Just pick and choose what you want and we will make it happen and he did. He was prompt and punctual. When he started the work, he hit the ground running with a large group. He was great, I recommended him to a neighbor who was equally please.  Above average and knowledgeable about everything concrete. Easy to work with.  He has lots of good designs. He is good at solving problems on the spot. For example, we had an air condition unit that was in the way and to move it would hvae cost an extra $2000 to drain it and everything and he said we can just float it mid air, no problem. We will just raise this thing about three inches and build a small platform and then when they poured the the concrete, they used a quick drying concrete. When they made it around to that area, the concrete stood up enough they were able to put the unit back on it and finished the concrete around it. These are extra things that this man did to help make the job work out even better.  Then later he asked if the unit makes to much noise let me know and he did. Told me where to go to buy these rubber pads and we did and he put them in at no charge. That got rid of all the extra noise.   Price was very fair, very reasonable.

They are just great. They know what they are doing and they do a wonderful job. When you do something in concrete, it’s done and you cannot easily change it. He was very good at asking extra questions to help make sure that you got what you needed. He was always making sure that whatever he was doing, he was doing it according to what we wanted. He and his crew did a good job. He’s the best contractor we had so far. They continue to try hard to figure out what you need and what you really want, so that you will be happy with it for a long time. When we had a problem, he came out immediately and took care of it. He did a lot of construction work for us and he charged a fairly good price for it. They cleaned up well. He would give suggestions and tell me how to go about things. He also thought of putting a rubber isolating pad in between the air conditioning area, so that there wouldn’t be too much noise and vibration. They thought of all these things. Their price was very reasonable. I would use his services again in the future.
