John and his crew did an excellent job in a timely and professional manner. Communication was very good as John is a very amiable person and easy to work with. He takes pride in his work and makes sure you are satisfied before he leaves the job.

John was truly a God send after a number of terrible experiences with contractors that were a nightmare to work with.  He was professional, reasonably priced, and did excellent work.  Most importantly, though, he was reliable and trustworthy.  I felt very comfortable with him in the house, whether I was there or not.  I would recommend him to the people I love most, and that is saying a lot.  We will definitely be using him again in the future.

John installed a bathtub and a vanity for us. He did an outstanding job. I will definitely call him again ! He did the work at a more than reasonable price; and in a timely manner. He was also very polite and easy to talk to and deal with. He listened to our ideas and went beyond our expectations!

Called promptly. Came out and inspected roof. Gave estimate on what the cost would be. Made appt to come out. Showed up at time. Did job fast and effectively.

John has been very responsive and flexible as we encounter issues, very fair and transparent about his pricing, and he has been helpful in coordinating some external services from Lowes as we live on the east coast and he acts essentially as a local agent as well. The pricing is very fair and we have had no major or minor issues and will certainly continue to use John's services in subsequent improvement projects.

John is trustworthy, reliable, proactive and does a quality job. He works well with various personalities and can both take initiative and direction.

He was really cheap and he knew his job really well. He let me know when he would be here and he was on time.

This was the first remodel job that we have ever had done in our house, so we were a little concerned about what to expect (we watch to many of the HGTV shows where things go wrong). It took him a few extra days to get the quotes back to us (made us more nervous), but John was very professional and was always on time to the work site and kept us up to speed on what was going on. Day one was demo...he left the bathroom tidy. Over the next couple of weeks he re-plumbed the shower, poured a new shower floor, built a new quarter wall, dry walled, tiled the shower floors and walls, tiled the bathroom floor, installed a new toilet, installed a new vanity, and completed it with a glass shower door. His tile work is very nice and even. We couldn't be happier!
We used this small job as a sample to see if we would use John for some larger projects that we want to complete. I wouldn't hesitate to contact him again.

He did an excellent job. They were just great and we were pleased and it was done well. I thought the price was reasonable. He basically proactively fixed the existing problem and the said the floor is going to last for quite a while. Once he got started it was done very quickly. He was very professional and we certainly had no problems with him at all.

They showed up on time and got the work done with no problems. They even did the work in the rain. I am satisfied with the job. They are knowledgeable.

John was recommend to us by a very well respected contractor. We called him and within a week he was able to start our small odd and end jobs we had for him. After we saw what great work he did we gave him a couple more. I will use Johns again in the future.

John was fantastic. He was always very professional and courteous. He was always friendly and pleasant to be around. He did excellent work and was extremely helpful in making decisions about what to do with the design of the space. Right after he finished our job he moved to Ohio. If he were still in the area I would definitely call him first if I needed more work to be performed.

Project was delayed by weather and some changes we made. (Work added). Toward the end of the project things became a little difficult because of his conflicting work. Mr Kauffman is a talented young man with some pretty well developed skills. He has additional people he brings to the job temporary workers but he is working alone alot and that can slows things down considerably. I had some difficulty with his prices. They seemed quite high. The project ended well with some rework and I was very satesfied at the completion of the job.

He is excellent and conscientious and really wants to do a good job. He is really reasonable.

I'm very pleased with the work performed! Thorough, solid, prompt. Clean work site. Railings are solid, pet door is AWESOME, good sound work performed. Will definitely use John again!
