We called and asked for top soil for a garden we are building. We needed 3 loads. J&S brought our the first load, got stuck in the pathway going to the garden area (it was soft from all the rains) and dumped where they got stuck. Before dumping I showed the driver where we wanted to soil and we discussed the recent rains. He thought it would be ok, so he suggested he dump the load. The truck tore up our walkway and I had to move the dirt about 25 yards in a wheel barrow.
The soil is bad. Had rocks (large number and large size), had large roots and a lot of red clay. I decided not to get the other two loads.
I'd recommend another company for top soil. It may cost $10-20 more, but would be worth it.
