He gets back at 12:11 . I wonders why it took so long and even why he had to leave to get the disposal since o told him I felt o needed one before he same. I also wondered what he puts in the big trailer he pulls with his truck. He comes in and puts the disposal on I. Less that 30 minutes and says it went on easier than any he could remember placing. He then goes upstairs and shortly after asks for tweezers as something is stick in the faucet. Unable to get whatever it is loose he says I will need a new faucet. By this time it is after 1 and knowing he will leave again for an 1.5 hr I say how much do I owe you up to now. I have to leave a 2 to pick a child up from school. It is now 1:08. He goes outside for around 20 minutes to tally the bill with and without a new faucet. The grand total for just the disposal is .. $456.37. He included a $25.00 fuel surcharge and billed for 1.5 hrs for the disposal and 1.5 hrs for the sink that he spent a total of 30 minutes basically tinkering with. I told him I couldv’ve bought and had a dishwasher installed for that! Also, he said $365.00 to replace the $49 faucet upstairs. If I wanted to replace. Thank you but no Thank you Rodney Speake. My son can do it for the regular cost of what the faucet really costs which , I can assure you is Not $275! I should have looked closer at the invoice that he had me sign twice to notice the fuel surcharge and 3 hrs billed when he was out killing time eating a cheeseburger!!! do people like that realize that word of mouth go a long way into building a business and ocercharging an unsuspecting customer just isn’t worth it at the end of the day. No doubt , he didn’t work the rest of the day. He Didn’t need to!! Never again.

This contract was started in March of 2015.  His apprentice Justin Speak pulled the permit at the City of Garland where I live.  Following multiple contract changes and delays, Rodney Speake, Master Plumber, finally took over the project on November 5, 2015.  I signed a third contract with him to complete the work.  Paid him up front a payment of $1,000.00 and the rest to be paid when he completed the project.  As of today, 1/7/2016, we haven't heard from him.  He has not returned any of our phone calls.  I have had to file a report with the Texas Board of Plumbing Professionals where he is registered.  I am waiting to hear back from them.  Heritage Plumbing has left my plumbing line uncovered and open to the elements.  It has failed to pass inspection twice.  I am having to get estimates for a new plumber to come out and complete the work.  I am also having to file a civil suit against them for money I paid to them, over $8,000.00 for basically nothing.  The plumbers I am receiving estimates from state that they basically have to start over with the entire plumbing project.

My sister took over this plumbing project with Rodney due to me being in the hospital and having heart surgery.  He has lied, cheated and done nothing that he promised to do.  His apprentice, Justin Speake is not of any better character either.
