After the work was completed, some of the tiles did not match and I called to have Richard come out. He and his brother came out and agreed that the shingles did not match, so they had a crew replace these. I was still not satisfied because although the new shingles were a better match, they did not lay flat and looked like a patch job. I was told they would lay flatter when we had a couple of hot days. A year later, they still look like a poor patch job. 
The workmanship was sloppy and I tried to tell Estes that I was not happy with the work. They have me a line of technical jargon to avoid addressing the issue. Although I couldn't argue technically with them since I am not a roofer, I asked them to look around at my neighbors homes, several of whom had recently put on new roofs. Mine, by comparison looks like it still needs a new roof. I am not happy at all with either the quality of work or the desire to make me happy as a customer. Maybe I should post pictures....you would be appalled.

They did a good job, but through the course of the roof replacement (which only took 1 day!), they knocked loose a bit of sheetrock around one of my skylights. They came back on three separate occasions in order to get that repair just right, and they really did a great job. I would recommend them to anyone.

The Estes Roofing sales rep (Cody Savell) was always available by phone,  friendly and courteous.  He went out of his way to do everything I asked about or that I wanted to be done.   The workers were courteous and did a great clean-up of old shingles & nails.   They will definitely get my business in the future !   

They did a roof for our boat house in June. It was metal roofing that they did. It took them about 3 partial days to do the work. It was a challenge due to it being over the water. Sometimes the weather was in effect and the guy who had to be up there had to be tied up and someone had to hold him to the dock for safely reasons. They have done roofing for our home a couple years ago also. We had a leak around our fire place that they didn't charge us for that. They do warranty they work. They are quick and good.

It went great.   They were able to redesign the roof where we had added an addition ourselves and created a leak.  The final work looked good and was done on time.  I added a couple of jobs as they went and they were able to fit them in the schedule (we needed the ceiling redone in a bedroom due to some holes in the ceiling where previous workers had slipped in the attic.)  It was so nice not to have a bathroom without mold and a ceiling without holes!

We really liked Jonny and Este's. He was great and took our daughter (the tenant) up on the roof and showed her the issue and also how to take care of a flat roof. He did the repairs as quoted, cleaned off the roof and is helping my daughter clean-off some of the insulated piping that crosses the roof.

Jonny was responsive, completed the work as promised and provided extra value. We will definitely keep Estes Roofing on speed dial for future roofing issues.

WE had our roof re-done.  They were quick but we also contracted out some other things like some painting.  On our roof we had a recent leak and when we called them back there was no response.  On the painting it took forever to get done.  When they do get it done, the quality is middle of the road, but sometimes they are real slow.  The roof they were fast, but on the other things, uh-huh.  The roof we had some problems after and they did not respond.

I've used Estes Roofing & Construction many times and I'm very pleased with them. They're skilled craftsmen. They've very conscientious about cleanliness and about taking care of your property while they're doing the job. They're very courteous. They do what they say they're going to do when they said they were going to do it.

After a big storm we asked Danny Estes to come by and give us an estimate.  He was very prompt, very knowledgeable.  My wife and I both work so he met with the Insurance Adjuster and convinced him/her that we had a good claim.  I had asked an adjuster to look at my roof several years earlier and he said it didn't need to be fixed/replaced.  I don't know enough about roofs to argue with the guy so when Danny met with the adjuster, I was so glad that he would be there as the adjuster was looking at my roof.  The job was done quickly and correctly.  All I had to pay was my deductible.

Overall the job was handled in a very professional way. We did not get our first request for a start date, but it was begun 2 days later. This was all done while we were in the process of getting appraisals, follow-up inspections for insurance, lenders, and all the activities that are required to sell a home. The roofers even worked in intermittent drizzle the first morning while removing the old roof  and putting on new roofing felt. They even spray painted the roof vent stacks to match the new shingles. I would definitely use Estes again for roofing work.

Overall everything went smoothly, I was expecting sleepless nights and headaches, but Estes took all of the hassle out of the situation for me and pretty much did all the work.

We had a new roof put on in 2008 by a local roofer Cables. In Dec 2012 we began having a leak inside the home. I called Cables and they sent someone out 2xs to fix the problem which now included leak in bedroom running down the wall with wallpaper bubbled up and a leak over a window in a different part of the house. Tried calling multiple times but got no response, no returned calls...nothing. I had no alternative but to call another company. I called Estes Roofing who responded immediately. That same day to give us an estimate. Rain was predicted so they said they would get it done before anymore damage was done to the interior. They came on the weekend and had it done before the rain began. Jake gave me his cell number in case there was a problem and then followed up with a visit and a call to make sure we were ok. They redid the Valley in front of the house and put on new shingles. Everything has been fine ever since so I would highly recommend them to anyone needing a new roof for their quality and punctuality. They were also very professional about it.

Stephen Enriquez with "Estes Roofing" (979-219-6849) was recommended to us by our neighbor. We asked him to come look at our roof and advise us on filing a hail damage claim. Stephen was very personable and eager to work with us.  We contacted our insurance as he suggested, and after filing a claim, we had an estimate of what the insurance would cover. Stephen reviewed the insurance documents, and offered an estimate with no out of pocket cost to us. When they came to work on our roof, the entire crew was very professional.  When we interacted with them, they were friendly and polite.  We had unseasonable rain, so the job was delayed by the weather.  They were caught halfway through by a random thunderstorm, but they had made all necessary provisions, and they were able to finish the next morning with no problems.  Stephen was always available by text message or phone call, and he was always very prompt to answer any questions we had.  He gave us plenty of addresses to view shingle colors, and in the end, we went with his color suggestion.  We think he has a good eye for the colors selection, because ours looks great and the other addresses we viewed had good looking color schemes that appeared to go well with those houses.  We are very pleased with Estes Roofing's work.  Stephen Enriquez is an excellent representative for them in Bryan/College Station

I had to pay only the deductible.  They actually suggested me to call the insurance since it was hail damage.  The people that work in that company are just great; they are real friendly.  I had a problem with the roofing so they went back to the manufacturer and redid it all.  They are really professional and they completed the work in one day; it was pretty amazing.  I would absolutely recommend them to others; they are wonderful.

A tree limb came through our roof and soaked everything in the living room, dining room hall and one bedroom. I called Estes Roofing because last year I saw them in my neighboorhood and all around town, so I knew they had to be good.I wasn't dissapointed. They were there within a half hour and immediately started taking out the wet flooring. My daughter was expecting any day and did deliver while they were working. Plus my mom is 82 and requires my attention.  Estes Roofing DID EVERYTHING. I DIDN'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT A THING. THEY TALKED TO THE INSURANCE ADJUSTER AND COMPANY AND COMPLETD THE JOB PERFECTLY IN A VERY TIMELY MANER. I HIGHLY RECCOMMEND THEM.

They were suggested by my insurance.  They were cooperative and easy to work with.  They returned phone calls on a timely manner.  They did good work.

I knew things were going to go bad when the shingles were delivered the day before work was to start.  A large pallet of shingles was left directly behind my wife's car.  She couldn't back out of the driveway!  The next day workers showed up about 2pm and started tearing of the old roof.  They worked until dark.  The next day, workers returned in the early morning and had the majority of the roofing installed by that evening.  However, it was not fully completed.  A few days go by, and I have to make phone calls trying to get someone to come and finish the roof.  Alot of smoke got blowed up my a** and "We're Sorries".  "We'll get you taken care of".  A few more days go by, nothing.  So, I had to go to the office on FM 2492 and ask what it was gonna take to get my roof finished.  Got this again...  Smoke blown up my A** and "We're Sorry"  "We'll make it right".  A few workers showed up the next afternoon late and finished up the shingle install.  By this time we are livid with the company.  No gutters installed at all.  It takes another trip to their office asking what about the gutters?  If I had not had my original work order, all would have been lost.

After several weeks, someone finally shows up and completes the gutters.  All the paperwork was given to the rep for them to complete the submission to my insurance company.  I never heard from them again....  UNTIL.....  I received a nasty letter from the daughter of the owner of the company A Year Later stating that if I did not pay them over $4000 I would be sued for outstanding balance owed on work performed.  So, again I have to go through hoops for these people.  Finally get all the information together, and come to find out, they never submitted the paperwork to file on my insurance.  I had my insurance send a check to me, and I had to meet their salesman on my time, a year later, to hand him a check they should have requested when they finished the work A YEAR AGO!!!! 

The salesman did appologise for the rudeness and behavior of the owner's daughter and the "We are gonna sue you for our mistake" letter.  He said that "She has ran off alot of good people from the company."  "I try to stay away from her as much as I can." 

I found it very insulting to be sent a letter stating they were gonna sue me for something I had no control over "THEIR INCOMPETENCE"....!!!!!!!!

I would stay far, far away from this company!

The gentlemen who came to give us an estimate was very pleasant, answered all our questions, showed us how to stay within the limits of the adjustor's reports, but also gave us an idea of what it would cost for an upgrade.  The crew arrived less than a week later.  They were very courteous and extremely hard-working - didn't stop even for lunch until they had completed the roof.  We love our new roof; it is definitely an improvement to our home.  They also installed a ridge line to help with ventilation, with which we are very pleased.  It was mentioned that the job is noisy and that I might want to leave for the day, if noise bothered me.  I stayed and it really wasn't that bad.  Their clean up was well performed (I think our deck was cleaner after they left than it was before they arrived!)  I will definitely recommend Estes Roofing to my friends and family. 

TERRIBLE. The crew showed up (about 20 people) at 7:00 am and they didn't stop until dark-which during july is awfully late. I had an infant and they still stayed until way past his bed time. After the repairs, which took longer than estimated, my sun roof LEAKED and ruined my ceiling everytime it rained. I called them multiple times to repair it and it took 3 trips. No one on the crew speaks english. Only Danny Estes. I don't recommend.
