Both slabs were abandoned while still soft and not finished as requested. The owner does not pay his employees. The work started in Nov 2010 and dragged on until Mar of 2011. The owner promised to make patio slab right by grinding off the trowel marks and high spots. This has still not been done as of Sep 2011. He hired a cement finisher from a homeless shelter who quit with the slab unfinished because of curfew. The crew setting the forms admitted that they had little experience and the owner was rarely around to supervise. The brick layers quit because they weren't being paid. I paid an extra $650 to have the slab colored and sealed. This has still not been done. Patio slab has an inch of water standing after it rains and does not drain. The finishers "eyeballed" it. Owner has too many "irons in the fire" and does not properly supervise his crews. Jumps from job to job a lot. Constantly demand more money, when all is paid does not come back.

He hires people from the half way house in Tyler, Tx,most are unexperienced.  Gives them small amounts of money at a time but does not pay, still owes me $3250.00,not very professional, jumps from job to job.
