+ -1 moreWe submitted our paperwork to Capital One for mortgage pre-approval through a Capital One Bank branch in South Tyler. After not hearing back for three weeks, I called the mortgage division. The gentleman I spoke with said he had never heard of me before and never received any paperwork from me. He also said that they do not do pre-approval for mortgages. In fact, he was surprised and confused by the whole concept because he had never heard of it before. He said that I should contact him when I have a house picked out and a price negotiated. I would never, ever use Capital One for a mortgage. They were terrible and clueless and they scare me.
Description of Work: We went to Capital One seeking an estimate for a mortgage.
