It went well. My first time remodeling and my expectations were a little unrealistic. Only issue was that add-ons added up a lot and was surprised with the final bill. CB worked with me on the final bill though.

We have an older plantation-style home that was built bit by bit by different owners.  Consequently, we're always discovering interesting things about our home. Someone at our church recommended C B Builders. I called Clyde about a leak in our closet with rain and he came out and repaired where the flashing had pulled away from a dormer. At that time he told us our roof was near the end of it's life (it was 30 years old), but that we could probably wait a bit longer. We had the house re-sided that summer and saved up for the eventual re-roofing. 
We have a 3 story house, but part is only 1.5 story with a steeply pitched roof. For the safety of his men they needed to use a scissor lift. In order to save us some money he delayed our job to coincide with another job where he needed to rent a scissor lift and we split the price with the other party. He also informed us that due to some of the inconsistencies he'd already seen in our home, he wasn't sure if there would be house-wrap... fortunately for us, there was indeed housewrap. While re-siding the home someone broke a sky-light that is on our porch. He replaced it at no additional charge. Also during that time his men smelled natural gas while working on one side of the house. I had smelled gas intermittently, but it was gone when I had someone come out.  He called me and asked if they could investigate. He found where someone had used the incorrect pipe to run our gas line. He turned off all the gas in the home and corrected this problem. He was upfront about everything as we went along. 
The next year (2013) we had him re-roof the house as it started to leak in another area. While the roof was off one section of the house we had a sudden rainstorm. Water was pouring into the laundry room. I called Clyde and he and his roofing specialist came over immediately. The roofing specialist went up on the roof and fixed the problem. 
Each time his crew has come out they have been nothing but pleasant.  They have cleaned up after themselves. We have found the occasional roofing shingle buried deep in my flower bushes, but not often. Once when the dog got out, they tried and tried to chase him down and get him back.  Finally they did give up as it's a large dog made for running... and the dog came right back to them. They seemed like caring people. I was never worried about having his crew around my home with my children. I would use them again.
