$8,500
The outdoor HVAC equipment we bought for approximately $8,500 did not work properly.
The thermostat was not readable, nor the controls visible.
The equipment is under a ten year warranty, which American Standard refused to honor.
I had to pay $183 to have a new thermostat installed.
The equipment is under an annual maintenance contract for $179 per year.
Even the new thermostat was not installed properly. We had to call again to send another technician to re-install the new thermostat properly.
