Allen Steele Plumbing

They were hired, through a home warranty company, to install a new hot water heater. They broke the guage on the hot water heater during install (which we didn't know at the time) and it began leaking. I called and asked them to come back out and take a look at it because it was leaking and they said they wouldn't unless we paid for another service call. We had an air conditioner guy come out to do some other work and he said the reason it has been leaking was due to them breaking the guage during install. I called Allen Steele Plumbing again and they said they wouldn't stand behind their install and that we would have to pay to fix what they broke. She was EXTREMELY rude and nasty. Not professional at all. I would not recommend this company.

They did a great job. a few months later something needed fixed and I couldn't get them back out there, so had to hire someone else for that.

These people are so dishonest. They create nore work for themselves down the road by doing a very poor job to begin with. Can you believe that every 3 mos that pipe would come off and it would cost methe same fee over and over.

Completed as promised

They came in to install a hot water heater, they were prompt, professional, and clean. While here they went above and beyond, fixing a sewer trap that was backing up into my house. I had contacted another company the night before about fixing the sewer and they refused.

It went well, we called late in the afternoon and since it was not an emergency, someone came out promptly the next day at agreed time. They explained the problem and the options. We chose to replace the faucet and they immediately obtained the part and finished the replacement. The whole process was quick and easy. They billed us and I paid later.
Because I was on vacation and forgot to pay the bill, I called the office to let them know. Kittie was understanding and friendly over the phone when she called me back after a left a message (less then 30 min later and after office hours).
I have worked with Allen and Kittie before. We have an 1955 home and it does have problems. They are always prompt and friendly, providing excellent advice and warm and friendly treatment. We will always use them for pluming issues/problems in Tyler.
