Do not let them touch your skylights (see photo)! My roof contract with Advantage Roofing Co from Tyler, TX stated they would install double pane glass skylights. After the job I discovered hat Bryan ordered flimsy plastic skylights. I had to reach out to Advantage Roofing Co repeatedly to get them to agree to replace the skylights with what we had agreed on. Five months later, installers arrived unexpectedly during the day while I was at work and did the worst install job ever! I can stick my hand inside of my house through the skylight curb (see photo). Not only was it installed poorly, but Advantage Roofing clearly did not take measurements before ordering. Just the glass part of the new skylight is larger than my entire curb! I have been calling Jason Advantage Roofing Co from Tyler, TX for weeks now to get this redone properly, but so far have just been getting the run around. I want the skylights that fit to be installed correctly, ASAP before rats get into my house to avoid the cold. They did a good job with my TPO, but do not let them touch your skylights!

They did an excellent job!!  Nice people to work with and the workers who came to our home were thoughtful and did a great job.  I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

This is the third house I've had roofed in the last 5 years, but my first experience with Advantage Roofing. Materials were delivered by Home Depot on the day and time scheduled. Job was to begin the following morning, early in the morning, considering the daytime temperatures were 105 degrees. They have one of the hardest working crews I've ever seen. They started work at 6:30AM and didn't quit until 9:00PM on all three days. This is my mom's house (age 88) and the crew was always friendly and respectful around her, which I appreciated. (No loud music, shouting or profanity). The quality of their work was excellent, and they left the job site clean of trash and nails. I dealt with Brian Nailling from Advantage, who monitored the crew's work and progress and kept me informed throughout the job. He was very accommodating, by meeting with our insurance adjuster, at the time the roof was inspected . He is also coordinating some of the insurance claims related to replacement cost expenses. A special thanks to Brian who showed concern for the safety and welfare of my mom, when the crew was leaving the job at night, by insuring that her gate was closed and locked, when an unknown and unauthorized vehicle and people were trying to enter her driveway. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Advantage or use them again in the future.

They did not get back with estimate for the job nor did they return my calls.

I have been struggling with this company since June, 2013. I believe that they are trying to delay thinking that I will give up. There will be a petition filed with the court by the end of December, 2013 if they do not respond to my attorney's demand letter. Don't use this company. Despite their A rating on Angie's List, they are nothing but trouble.

It was excellent. They did excellent work. The prices were very fair. I had no complaints. I chose a high quality shingle.

They did a good job. They where very professional. They had a guy there that surpirsed the job to make sure that everything went accordingly. He made sure the job was done well and made sure they didn't go over the price I was quoted.

I had a great experience with Advantage Roofing. This is actually the second time I have used them. The first time was when I had a leak on the roof of the home that I used to own. A rep from Advantage came out and took a look and made some minor repairs and didn't charge me anything, not even for a service call. This time, I was in the process of buying a house that needed a new roof. I called and talked to Phil, who went out to the house to inspect the roof. He worked with the previous owners and their insurance company to get a new roof put on. They were able to do the work quickly, and did a fantastic job. The new roof looks great! Phil did a fantastic job. He kept me involved in the process and let me know what was going on every step of the way. I would highly recommend this company.

When we first called Advantage, it was due to a leak after a rain storm.  Phillip Goodwin came the same day and patched the leak.  He also inspected our roof and told us that we had hail damage.  He promptly gave us an estimate for a new roof and worked with our insurance adjuster on our claim.  We scheduled the work, and Phillip and the crew arrived promptly, worked very hard, and finished on time.  They were all very professional and courteous, and left our yard the way they found it.  If we ever need another roof, we will definitely call Phillip Goodwin at Advantage Roofing, and we highly recommend them for your roofing needs.

The roofing supplies were delivered the day before the job was scheduled.  Everything was arranged in a nice orderly manner near the driveway.  The crew arrived on time and had the old shingles off in about two hours.   They replaced the damaged decking on the roof and removed the wind turbines.  The new roof has ridge vents to replace the wind turbines.  They removed and reinstalled the satellite dishes.  After the new shingles were installed, the crew cleaned up all debris from the job.  All nails which landed on the lawn were magnetically picked up.  This company works with your insurance claims, and makes the entire process a pleasurable experience.  We could not be happier with their service.  We highly recommend you give Mr. Goodwin a call if you need a new roof or roofing repairs.
