Technician Eric was concsientious & insightful regarding feasibility of making repairs to both machines. In the end we only repaired one & decided it would make more sense to replace the other. We will now make our purchase from Worthleys in Tomball due to Eric's recommendations.

We have used Worthley for years, both for purchasing new appliances and for appliance repairs and have always been pleased with their service. We recently had Worthley replace a 16 year old wall oven. They were prompt, friendly and professional. I checked the price of the same model of oven with three big box retailers and found that they were substantially the same as Worthley.

My second experience with this company was much different from the first one a year ago. My Whirlpool washer dispenser mechanism broke for the 2nd time in a year so I called Worthleys to repeat the service. I waited a week for the parts to come in and had been scheduled for the repair. The repair service date came and I was told that the parts were never ordered and it would be another week before they could schedule the repair service. I asked owner, Eric, reasonable questions about how this could happen and who was responsible for ordering parts. He became a sarcastic, smartypants with me. He told me there are plenty of other repair shops around that I could call. He sarcastically told me that he could call me every hour with a parts update if I wanted him to. I was already into the company for an $80 trip charge, so I went ahead with the service. The service went fine except that 3 people showed up instead of the 2 people needed to unstack the washer/dryer unit and I had to bluntly tell them that I would not pay 3 labor charges ($50 per person).

"I apologize that my response came across as sarcastic. I will admit that as a small shop there are times when we fall short, in this case, getting the parts on order for this customer. Though I do not recall the specific conversation, I do know that when a customer expresses concern that we are not capable of earning their satisfaction, I will ask if they would feel more comfortable trying another company. While I do not wish to loose any one customer's business, I will offer to refund any charges and allow them to try another option."

They charged me for a part for the washer and a small service fee. I have used them quite a bit over the years. They have always done a great job for me. I have also bought appliances there and they are delivering before I am able to make it back from the appliance store.
