Our house sold and we had to be out in 3 weeks. We contacted Tomball has we had used them years ago. They were there on the date at the proper time. They packed for a day and 1/2, then loaded and unloaded on one very long day.
Everyone from Tomball Movers that we had any contact with were super conscientious, courteous and kind people. While packing, one of the ladies had my dogs heart worm medication and suggested that I take it with my medication, as the dog would need it before we got the house unpacked. At that time we thought our stuff would go into storage.
I hope to never move again, but if it happens, I'd call Tomball Movers in a heartbeat. The final bill was also a surprise. There were 3-4 packers and all the supplies, plus 3-5 movers for at least 16 hours. I still think they made a mistake.

The packers were great the weeks prior to the actual move and all belongings were verified in home the morning of the move, but the day they packed my trucks there were additional men present in My house. 2 diamond rings and 2 firearms became missing. No one else was in my house that day where my missing items were. My belongings were hidden. I went to pack my final items including the missing items after they left my house on the same day. My jewelry had been gone through and dumped from its location and my firearms were missing. The management refused to question their own employees. A police report was filed. They damaged numerous pieces of furniture including antiques that cannot be replaced. When contacted with photos, they never responded.

"We have had several conversations with the shipper in regard to the claims of theft of the fire arms and jewelry. We appropriately, advised them to contact law enforcement and file a complaint and it will be investigated accordingly. We did conduct our own investigation in regard to the claims of theft which included interviewing all employees present on the job. None of the crew members saw anyone load fire arms into our vehicles as we are not allowed to transport them. The shipper has not claimed to have seen the fire arms loaded into our vehicles. We also have concluded, based on what all crew member's statements, that our men were not the only people in and around the home the day we were there. There was a landscape, or yard crew, there as well as some other people around the home and the barn area. We, therefore decided to wait until the police investigation was completed to see if they would find the same conclusion or find any reason that our men were the only possible suspects in the theft. We have been prepared to fully cooperate with any law enforcement investigation and welcome the chance to talk to them, however, as of this date, we have not heard from them."

Some furniture damage. Some damage to front door, door facings and walls. Arrived 1-1/2 hour late for job. I paid an additional 2 hours (going and coming time) for a distance I have driven in 20 minutes each way without speeding. It is my belief that when you hire a professional moving company, you are paying for professional services which I did not get.

Tomball Moving & Storage put everything away where we wanted it. The movers used a large box truck with their company logo on it. The workers were careful not to scratch or break anything during the move. The movers were very polite, courteous and helpful. I will use them again in the future if I need to move again.

The move was not a long one, only about eighteen miles, but they had to move some very heavy furniture, including some valuable antiques. There was no major damage to any of our material belongings. It took two trips for the movers to get everything here and arrange it where we wanted it. The smaller items we arranged though, trying to speed things up.

I was so impressed with how well they did the packing of the regular dishes that I let them pack the fragile china. They were very careful with everything they moved. I only had one small problem with a leg on a table getting broken, but the company paid to replace it. They put everything where it belonged instead of piling everything in one room. I would use them again if we ever move again.
