Crew did an excellent job. On time, punctual, professional, safety was emphasized, the work appeared to be easy for them, and they did my job at a competitive and fair price. Additionally, they were very responsive to my requests - even after hours. They sent me a copy of their insurance before starting and are also bonded for $1 mm. Tree removal can be a dangerous job especially if its close to your house or other structures or property of value. I didn't trust "just anyone" for our job. This is a legitimate company with real assets and equipment not just someone driving around in a truck with a chain saw (which we see a lot of in our neighborhood). They did great work. All debris was removed, my property was cleaned - as if they were never here. Moises was the tree climber on our job. Consider requesting him. I will be using them again.

Provider arrived on time, and immediately began the job of trimming 2 trees. Four workers worked together for 
approximately 1.5 hours trimming the trees and cleaning up the debris. Workers were very cooperative when
responding to owner's additional requests for trimming specific limbs. Job was completed satisfactorily, and
the crew left after thoroughly cleaning the debris site.

Called Olvera Tree and set an appointment for an estimate. Nino came on time and looked over the job and area and gave me an estimate for exactly what I wanted done. I scheduled it to be done the following Thursday at 8am.They arrived right on time with more equipment than I was expecting. I was supprised! When they piled out of the 2 trucks there were 5 guys making my tree disapear. In 1 hour they took the tree down to the stump, ground the stump 12 inches below the level earth and hauled it all away and left me nothing but a flat circle for grass to grow over. It was exactly as I wanted it, it was cleaned up better than I could have asked for and buy the time I knew it they were gone. I could not ask more from a company in their profesionalism on the phone and in person. Great job and a good price. Will definitely use again.

I got quotes from several well-rated companies from Angie's list.



Quotes ranged from $250 to $400.



Owner came out and gave me a verbal quote: $250 for the work noted above.



A couple of weeks later when the crew arrived, and i went over the requirements, he said he could not do the job for that price, but it would be $500. 



Now i am in a bind.  I had done some trimming myself and left the branches/clipping in the yard for thie crew to haul away -- that was part of the "clean up" and they had no problem with that.  I could not tell them to "forget it", like i wanted to and leave all that debris in my yard until i could get another firm out here to do the work.



So i agreed to the new higher (double price).  UGH



The good news is that they honored the Angie List 10% discount for jobs of $500.



To their credit, they did quick work-- they had a crew of 5 and then another truck showed up with about 5 more men.



The down side for the quick work was that it was a bit sloppy as well.  I had expected care and thought would be put into each trim -- but in hindsight that was not a realistic expectation for $250 or even $500.  Some ot the trmming of the pear resulted in damaged bark because of overcut, or a faliure to undercut first so that the branch tore some bark away as it was falling down.



Make no mistake about it.  These guys are day laborers with sharp, very sharp tools.

The tree had a very large bee hive in it as well and they were able to complete the job. They are very hard workers and were there from sun-up till sun-down. They are really easy to work with and do excellent work. They are very prompt and efficient.

Called and got an appointment for an estimate the next day. Arrived within stated window, checked tree and provided a written estimate for the branch removal and to trim the tree away from the roof. Scheduled the work for the following week, their schedule opened up and they were able to do it the same week. Arrived a little late for the appointment to do the work, but the crew was professional and did a great job on the trimming as well as the clean up.

Company representatives very responsive in arranging an appointment to give us a quote.  They were on time for the quota appointment as well as on time for beginning the job.  I called them late on a Friday afternoon to accept their quote, and they scheduled the work for the following Tuesday, which was very prompt in contrast to the two other companies I contacted for a quote, both in regard to scheduling the appointment for the quote as well as doing the job itself.  Olvera was very solicitous throughout and seemed anxious to do the job.  This was also clear in the comparative quote they gave me, which was $150 & $250 below the price quoted by the other two companies.  The tree itself sat on top of a gas line so they could not grind the stump.  As per my request, they cut the tree as close as possible to the ground and prepared the remaining stump for me to be able to put a stump rot compound on it.  They were prompt and expeditious in all their work and did an excellent job of cleaning up and putting things back in place after completing the job.  If they remain competitive in their pricing and the quality of their work, I absolutely will rehire them for any tree work I need in the future.       

Nino showed up on time and was very helpful and knowledgeable. He was the last of 3 estimates. I had already asked similar questions of the others but we talked about the the need to remove the tree (it was damaging the foundation) and how to remove all the surface roots. We also discussed preserving an existing bed next to the tree. He warned about the possibility of hitting the sprinkller system while grinding the roots. I had anticipated that and was OK with it. They only hit one pipe which had actually been lifted by the roots and it was easily repaired. He noticed the tree overhanging our drive and touching the roof and offerred to trim it as well.
They were able to do the work the day after I called to accept their quote. The crew arrived that morning at 8 and were completed before I got back from lunch at 2. They did everything asked and left the yard cleaned up better than expected. There's nothing more or different they could have done. I am very happy and their price was considerably less than the other two.

They had a very professional crew, who took great care that the trees did not hit power lines, bushes or the swing set in the back yard.  They were efficient in removing the tree and cleaning up all of the debris.  We will definitely use them again if we lose any more trees on on our property.

Called for an estimate. The gentleman came over the next day, gave a fair estimate. I called the following Monday to schedule service. They came the very next day and cut down the tree. The next day, the crew came a ground the stump. Very professional. They cleaned up the mess and did a very nice job. I received an invoice in the mail the following week, paid the bill and all is good. I just wish I had more work fro them, they are a great company

Very pleased with the work.  Good experience start to finish. They came out in the evening to accomodate my schedule to do the estimate. He even called to say he might be a couple minutes late..which no one does any more.  Very happy with the work, they cleaned up well, did not dig up the lawn.  I had used them once before and was happy that time as well. Will definitely use them for any future tree trimming or removal.
