The service technician was at my home 2 hours for a 2 minute repair.  He said when he walked in that he needed to check the electrical panel to make certain it was safe for both me and for him to do the repair.  He spent the remaining 1 3/4 hours going all over my house and yard checking everything I own.  Upstairs, downstairs, in my master bedroom, in the garage, in the kitchen, he just did not miss anything.  I kept mentioning to him that I really only needed the light switch fixed (cables attached to the plate) and that was all.  He told me we needed a new electrical panel outside, that ours was no longer reliable.  I told him we suspected that but were planning to sell the house this summer and would address all those issues then.  He was busy writing on his iPad for 30 minutes while holding my credit card.  Then I had to sign the forms, I took my credit card back from him, and he said no, I haven't entered your information yet.  I felt like he was getting our life history.  Then he went to fix the switch.  Then he presented me with a quotation for all of the things he felt we needed to replace, which was not requested.  I only wanted him to fix the darn switch in my closet.  He sat out in the his truck for another 10 minutes then came back to the door and said he needed to enter the credit card information manually since the "system wasn't working" on his iPad.  I felt uneasy giving the card back to him for the third time.

Pleased with the service provided and the professionalism of the electrician  who was quick to diagnose the problem and give
me a reasonable quote for the work needed. I authorized the repair and the work was done right away,and came with a  7 year
warranty. 
I was  also able to use the coupon in the Angie's List book which covered the cost of the service call, Thanks.

It turned out okay but they tried to sell me some other stuff I didn't need. I didn't pay more than the $100 but they tried to convince me that I had broken stuff that needed fixing. Overall, they were okay.  The price was fine for the work they did.
