MUST READ!! Mighty Maids cleaned my home; had several issues from time to time, but spoke with Sheron – finally after 1 year they got the cleaning right. On occasions there were a few weird things – the ladies leaving a baggy (zip-lock bag) of makeup on the kitchen counter, leaving lunch kits in the fridge. First of all, WHY are they taking their makeup into my house and not leaving their insulated lunch kit in the vehicle….. THEN recently my daughter walked-in – Jennifer and her worker were eating lunch at the kitchen table!!! I thought I was over-reacting, asked a few friends their thoughts; they agreed it was totally inappropriate. When I told Sheron of the incidents, she totally defended her workers, saying “what they are not suppose to take a lunch – are they suppose to leave it a hot car, blah blah blah….”, just back & forth, told her of the makeup – totally dismissed the issue. As an owner, one would “normally” apologize and say I’ll make sure that doesn’t happen again….. Nope, total defense mode! I have pictures that prove that they, on 2 different occasions, helped themselves to my refrigerator in the kitchen and the refrigerator outside! At the time my daughter came to the house, I wasn’t sure of any mis-doing – but had a gut feeling. However, the next time they were schedule to clean, I took pictures of both fridges – the kitchen fridge, condiments were used, the outside – items were moved; yes, I set them up and they were busted! I felt violated!! What else are they doing that I don’t know about – btw I don’t have cameras in my home, but I do now! Trust your gut!! Mighty Maids were scheduled to come 2 weeks later (on March 23rd), I had already notified ShaRon that I would be out of town; next schedule cleaning was to be April 6th; however, the week of March 13th I received a letter stating they no longer will be in my area!!!! My home is located in the “TOMBALL” area!! This company and crew are totally unprofessional and are not trustworthy! They are complete strangers making themselves at home in your home – this is their JOB not a place to eat lunch & touch up their face. There are a lot of other minor issues that I would take a lot of your time. Bottomline – DON’T USE MIGHTY MAIDS CLEANING SERVICES located in Tomball!

After deciding to switch cleaning services, I called several listed in Angie's List on a Saturday. I have to leave messages for all of them. Mighty Maids called me back promptly on Monday morning, and all off the rest of my communications with them were easy. We scheduled an initial deep deep clean and then ongoing bi-weekly services. The company is bonded and insured, and their prices are fair. The two women who came to my home were very nice and did a great job cleaning my home. Overall, I am pleased and looking forward to on-going service.

**Update 9/1/11 - After using the service for 6 1/2 months, we terminated them.  There were numerous ongoing problems, with communication with management being one of the largest.  Other problems naturally flowed from there.  In the end, however, the breakages and accidents in the house became too frequent to continue to excuse them away.  The owner's response to the issues was laid back.  It was suggested that curtain rods pulled from the wall and electrical cords sucked into vacuum cleaners were somehow our fault. 

I now notice that the owners have started arguing with the reviews here on Angie's List.  I suggest that is telling of how other issues are also handled.

I don't have someone come in every week. We are having lots of construction done. I will have them back out when the latest phase is completed. I liked that both the girls spoke English so there was no miscommunication on what wanted to be done. They came with all their own equipment even though I had them use my vacuum. They came with ladders and everything to clean the ceiling fans because we have very high ceilings. They were on time. Anything I asked them to do, they did. I talked to El, the owner, and he was very easy to work with. I was very happy with them. I had researched the price and I did call around. Some of the companies quoted prices for which I would have had to get a job. I am just waiting for the latest project to get done and I will be using them again.

After arranging with the owner "EL" two ladies turned up, and did a really solid job. They delight every week in picking out something they think should be a focus area and really going to town on it. I could not be more pleased, if this continues we will be very happy for a long time. I will say that scheduling with "EL" the owner is a bit erratic, but I think we have got past that.

It was very smooth and easy. I arranged the cleaning with the owner. Two women were at my house at the appointed time. I should them in and went over the house and what areas I wanted them to concentrate their cleaning on. I left for my work. My wife came back from work in the evening by which time the women were finished cleaning. They went over what they had cleaned with my wife and she paid them. That was it.

They are very punctual, very quick and efficient. They talk to me very well and do exactly what I say. They are doing a good job and I am happy with their service.
