LIGHT ELECTRIC SVC CO

The workmanship is excellent, the final product is awesome.  I feel like I got a wonderful new look in my eating area and my family room.  I was very happy with the knowledge that Robert has about where and how lighting should be placed.  The installers were clean and prompt.  I loved that they showed up FIRST thing in the morning to begin their work so I wasn't waiting around.  I also was very happy that I was included in all the decisions about where the lights would be placed--no holes were cut until they had my final approval.
The only thing I was frustrated with was negotiating the price.  Robert and I agreed on a final price over the phone in a lengthy conversation.  I asked if we needed to sign a contract or anything and he assured me that his word was good and since I had spent almost 2 hours with him at my home (and he had done work for a friend that I referred him to) I agreed.  When all the work was finally done, he asked for payment which was not the price we agreed upon.  My mouth almost dropped to the floor.  By this point I wasn't going to haggle anymore and of course, the work was done, so I paid him what he asked which was $200 over the amount we agreed upon.  This left me with a terrible "aftertaste".  I was so disappointed.
For this reason, I would not hire this company again even though their work is awesome.  If you work with this company, I recommend a full written bid and contract.
