Lakewood A/C

They were the cheapest out of 3 quotes for a new air conditioner and repair. Came out numerous times to try and fix a problem. Unit was eventually replaced. Very fair in their service and received a refund for a part that wasn't needed after all.

I briefly told Lakewood A/C about my problem over the phone as well as my previous A/C problems. They sounded very sympathetic to my problem and due to weather, Lakewood A/C gave me an afternoon appt weather permitting. They called me when they were en route and arrived as expected. Because of all the other money paid to previous mentioned A/C repairs I only initially wanted a diagnostic service. Wasn't sure if I could afford another high A/C bill within 1 month. Luckily, my problem was VERY simple and was resolved simply by resetting the system in the attic. Apparently when I turned off blower at the circuit breaker there was more than one breaker that controls the A/C unit and thus the circuit I turned off was not the correct one for a system reset. Anyways I paid $50 for someone to essentially unplug then replug my system to reset it, BUT, I'M NOT COMPLAINING. The techs did a thorough diagnostic, looked over the previously hired techs work, advised me that my circuit board just might be going out, provided quote for work if/when needed - which seemed competitively quoted. Also if/when I have circuit board replaced, they said would comp 2 minor repairs/corrections that resulted from 2 of the previous techs being sloppy - my words - with their wiring, but that it wasn't urgent. Overall, I was very satisfied with the integrity of this company and feel as if I've finally found my go-to A/C company. Plus, this is a small business and I always try to support locally owned businesses first.

We had a freon leak due to a roofing job gone wrong. Lakewood was dispatched through my warranty company and arrived the same day. Rod at Lakewood went over and above to diagnose, view photos, and recommend we get an electrician. He was always available, honest and more than willing to coordinate with the roofing company so all contractors were present while the repairs were being made. Thank you Rod and your team at Lakewood!

Our A/C unit had to be turned off in the middle of the night due to disruptive noise. We called our warranty company the next morning, they dispatched Lakewood. The problem was diagnosed and repaired by 2pm. Xavier was very professional, timely and polite. Thanks Lakewood!

Rod and his team at Lakewood A/C are the very definition of good customer service. In an industry where most of these businesses try to cheat the customers, Rod was VERY honest with us and worked with our home warranty to get us the best price possible. He called us back repeatedly to keep us posted about any new information. His team was punctual, efficient, professional, and even laid down material on our carpet so our carpets wouldn't get dirty from their shoes. It is very rare to see a company like this still putting the consumer first and I whole-heartedly recommend Rod and Lakewood A/C. Thanks guys!!
