The job was done quickly and professionally. We had used them a few years back and were pleased so we decided to try them again. They took my sketch of the enlarged patio and did a great job of curving the edges like we wanted. Their prices are very reasonable and the quality of work is outstanding. Will hire them again in future for more concrete projects.

I submitted a request for a bid online and within 24 hours had been contacted and a date and time set for him to come give me a bid. The bid came by email promptly and after obtaining other bids I accepted the bid from Concrete by Dunlap. I was told that there was a backlog of approximately 3 weeks and would be notified of the date work would begin as soon as possible. It was almost 3 weeks exactly when they began excavation. Excavation took a day and they took great care in removing and raising the culverts. I had been warned that concrete culverts can break when being moved but they managed to not break the culverts and raised them 5 inches. Excavation and form building took one day. The next day rebar was installed and drilled into the existing driveway to tie the new concrete to the existing concrete. Pouring took place on the second day and was completed by that afternoon. The driveway was blocked off to prevent anyone from driving on it and we were told to not let anyone drive on it for at least 7 days. Payment was made after the work was completed and I was satisfied. I have to say I appreciated the courtesy that I received from everyone I spoke to in the completion of this project.

These guys were excellent at every step. The demolition went smoothly, they surveyed multiple times both before and after setting the forms. The demolition, pouring and cleanup was on schedule and very professionally done. The new patio looks great! Also, we've had several rainstorms since it was completed. Water drains from the patio exactly as it's supposed to with no puddles. We are very pleased with these guys. I highly recommend Concrete by Dunlap and would use them again without hesitation.

I communicated by email several times with the owner about the estimate and the job. He responded quickly and answered all of my questions. The crew arrived exactly at the time they said they would and worked quickly to remove the old section of concrete and tree root, install rebar, and pour the new concrete. They were meticulous in finishing the surface and cleaning up. The owner was there at the beginning of the job through removal and preparation, and his crew sent him a picture of the finished product before leaving the site. It was the kind of experience you should expect from every contractor but rarely get. This is a family owned business that takes great pride in their work and customer service.

Incredible job. From our initial contact with our sales person Will, all the way through to completion, they were true professionals. Punctual, polite, informative, quality work and they left the job site as clean as they found it.

These guys came in when they said they would come and did a great job. I have no complaints at all. They had their work cut out for them to complete my patio and did it professionally, quickly and cleaned up after.

Ethan, Will and their crew were wonderful! We contacted several companies - some never showed, others gave a completely overpriced quote (and one came twice and STILL hasn't submitted a quote!). Concrete by Dunlap provided quality work at a competitive price. They answered every question we had in a helpful, timely manner and completed beautiful work quickly. We would definitely recommend them!

Selected Concrete by Dunlop from three bidders. Ethan Dunlap was very proactive with his communications. The time frame from the  initial bid through the installation, was marked by periods of heavy rain. Ethan explained the patio could not be poured until there was a break in the weather pattern. He kept me up to date on where my job was slotted within his schedule including the rain delays. My wife and I were uncertain as to what texture design and color to choose for our patio. Ethan supplied three job references for us to visit. All of the individuals we visited spoke very highly of Ethan and his companies work. Ethan also supplied us with the name of a company who installed metal gates / fences for our patio entrance.  Reynolds Screen and Iron coordinated with Concrete by Dunlop to have the fence/gate posts installed prior to the concrete pour. Patio was installed perfectly. There was a small amount of concrete left over which Dunlop used to make stepping stones and a pad for my BBQ grill.  Very pleased with the overall work.

Everything about this company and service was great. Their prices were very competitive if not less the others. They arrived exactly on time and completed all the work in one day and in addition even relocated a sprinkler head out of the patio area for us. The concrete finish was excellent and I have no hesitation in recommending them. Never had to use a concrete company before and we hit a homerun first time out.

Contacted Ethan (Dunlap) and made an appointment for a quote.  He showed up as scheduled.  He made a good suggestion that because the distance to our neighbors property line was only 7 ft, that we go ahead an park our car on the grass where we were going to add to the driveway just to make sure we would gain all the room we were hoping for.  While we waited for his quote, we did that and confirmed we wanted to go ahead.  His price was reasonable so we decided not to get a second quote.
We provided Ethan with a property survey and he drew up a plan for the driveway/sidewalk addition for our application to the homeowners association.
Once we had approval, we contacted Ethan and told him we'd like to proceed.  After a few false starts due to weather, we finally got a break and he was able to get the driveway in.  His crew was professional and efficient.  They went above and beyond the call of duty by hauling away a large pile of bricks we had stored up by the sidewalk location.
Ethan is very personable, professional and capable.  I would not hesitate to recommend him for your next concrete project.

Excellent company and outstanding job.  The owner was very prompt in communicating with me and performed the work exactly as promised within the time quoted.  Their price was very favorable and competitive and I couldn't be more pleased with the quality and outcome of this job.  As a Realtor, I would definately recommend this company to my clients without hesitation.

The contractor and his crew arrived on time (8:30 A. M.)  with all equipment necessary to accomplish the work and deal with any contingencies that might arise.  They were well organized and knowledgeable about what the job required and how to accomplish it in an efficient and timely manner.  The job was completed and the the site cleaned of all debris by about 4:00 P. M.
Overall, the quality of the work was excellent and completed in a timely manner for the agreed price.  The contractor and his crew were very professional and a pleasure to deal with.

Ethan came out late one evening to give us a quote.  He was obviously very busy, but got back with us quickly, and took our drawing of what we wanted and explained everything to us, answering all our questions. He promised us a quote that night, and we received it by email that same night.
Once we decided to use his company, he agreed to come out and setup and pour within a week and a half.  We were not able to be here while they worked, but the first day they got most of the setup done.  They were here bright and early the second day before we left for the day, finishing putting in the steel, and poured while we were gone.  We came home to such a gorgeous driveway.  Our only regret is that we didn't do this when we built the house.
I love the driveway.  It is very well done.  Ethan couldn't be friendlier and is very knowledgeable.  I would definitely call him again for any concrete work and highly recommend him.  I would recommend him to my friends.

Ethan Dunlap was outstanding.  He did everything he said he would do, when he said he would do it, with no surprises in workmanship or on the price quoted and added a few things in that were not a part of the deal that saved me a lot of time and money not having to do it myself.  It was a pleasure doing business with Concrete by Dunlap.  We are very pleased with the job they did and the front sidewalk and rear patio are better than we had hoped for when they were completed.  Ethan had several very good suggestions that were much better than I had drawn up, however he wasn't pushy or insistent.  His crew has worked for him for several years and are all very professional, courteous and skilled.  I plan to hire Concrete by Dunlap when we are ready to replace our driveway.  The price was reasonable, on the lower side of 4 bids and the entire job was done while I was at work. Ethan emailed me progress pictures, communicated with me regularly, and I couldn't be more satisfied.  If I had any complaints or concerns I would be glad to share them, but I just am completely satisfied with the job done. I would recommend Concrete by Dunlap to anyone.

The crew showed up right on time. Ethan, the owner, even stayed through most of the process to make sure I was satisfied. If I wanted to change something on the spot, they were great about it. If you need concrete work done and you want to make sure its done right, I wouldn't hesitate to use them!

This was one of the best experiences I've had when working with an independent contractor.  I called the week of August 26;  left a voice mail about the work needed and received a call back from Ethan, the owner of the company and head of operations, marketing, sales, HR, finance, etc., the next day.  Ethan apologized for the delay in calling back, which was much quicker than expected when he explained he is typically on the job-site supervisor work activities and can only check for voice messages each evening.  Again, I found him to be very responsive compared with other experiences.  Ethan met me at the house on the Monday, September 2, at the promised time, quickly assessed the situation and explained what he thought should be done.  My idea was to cut the floor back from the garage opening and pour a ramp to allow the car to get into the garage but Ethan indicated moving a car into and out of the garage would eventually chip the forward edge off of a ramp and we would need additional work at some point in the future.  Ethan suggested tearing the entire "cap" off the garage floor and provied a written quote to perform the work.  I found Ethan's suggestion to remove the "cap" to be more appealing and his quote to be more economical than other quotes received for the ramp idea.  We agreed to have the work done and asked how quickly he could get to it.  He said he could not promise but thought his schedule might allow him to get a crew there on Saturday, September 7.  We got a call from Ethan on Friday, September 6, saying he would be there Saturday morning between 8:00 A.M. and 8:30 A.M.  He arrived with his crew as promised and went to work.  The crew moved all the items stored in the garage onto the driveway.  The "cap" was broken up using a jack-hammer.  Delicate areas were addressed using a chipping hammer.  All debris was picked-up and loaded into a trailer for removal from the property.  The garage floor and walls were washed with Simple Green to clean up thin-set dust and fine particles.  As thunder rumbled in the distance, Ethan's crew moved everthing back into the newly usable garage.  As the last item was carried in, heavy rain from a thunder storm began to fall from the sky.  When the rain stopped, the car that had been parked outside on the driveway for the last two months was moved into it's new shelter.

A vehicle hit the concrete culvert head and broke a retaining type wall at our driveway entrance.  Insurance was called and just needed some estimates on the repair.  After consulting Angie's List, he was the only one to respond to my inquiry.  He came the next day and ultimately gave me two quotes.  One for a patch repair, and one for complete replacement.  I received those quotes the very next day.  It was quite some time before I contacted the insurance company with the quotes, as we were in the middle of selling our home.  The insurance company approved the larger replacement quote, and then I contacted Ethan for scheduling.  He was very up front about the time it may take to schedule in due to many factors including rain delays.  There were some delays, however, he was constantly in touch with me at all times.  His team was right on time, Ethan spoke with me that day as well explaining all that would be happening.  It was a larger job than he anticipated, due to the depth of the original concrete but, he was right there keeping me informed.  The new concrete was poured the following day and it was expertly done. Caution tape was provided and placed both before and after the pour.  He then explained the curing process and all I needed to do was wait four days.   His team was efficient and professional.  He is a smaller company, and I couldn't have been more pleased with his work ethic.  Hire him and you will not be disappointed.
