ABSORB Carpet, Grout, Rugs & Air Duct Cleaning

The carpet was cleaning was really good. The grout cleaning probably could have been better. I was not really happy with it. It seemed like it could have come out better. It was my first time getting my grout cleaned so I don’t know what the results are typically. But I thought it could have come out cleaner. I would recommend them for carpet cleaning but not for grout cleaning.

It went well.  ABSORB was punctual, professional, and very responsive on short notice.  They also performed their duties efficiently.  As far as the price and quality goes, it was good.  Not great, but good.  I would say great on price if I had other higher prices to compare it to for both the carpet/tile and the air duct cleaning on a comparable square footage.  But I don't, have a comparison, so the price was a little high for me, but I needed to get it done and they did it well.   I would say great on quality too if I had a great conditioned carpet and knew how dirty looking the air ducts were, but I don't so I feel the carpet/tile and air ducts were cleaned well, however not in spectacular night/day fashion.  Overall, you get a job well done for what seemed to me an above average price and they are straightforward on what that pricing will be before starting.  I've already referred them to friends who have inquired on such cleanings.

Only part that wasn't cleaned thoroughly (or was not able to be cleaned) was the carpet along the baseboards and the edges of the stairs. This was disappointing, but other than that, they did a great job. They were very professional (and Bilingual) and finished the job in a timely manner.

I didn't really get the desired results.  I admit that this was only the second professional cleaning in about 8 years and I have some significant stains but I thought that kind of money would get better results.  The technician was very professional, polite and respectful.  The pricing was very easy to understand.  No tricks, I like that.  I hope my rating is fair but the truth is that I wasn't that impressed.

Very nice work; both workers were courteous and professional.  They did as much as they could to get my tile as clean as possible, and discussed with me the various options for additional improvement.  The carpets were cleaned well, though they did not lift up some of the furniture to clean around it like I would've preferred.  Ultimately their work was quick, efficient, and they were relatively unobtrusive while they performed the work.

This review is for the air duct cleaning.  I have used Albert (owner) to also do tile & grout cleaning.  Albert cut access holes in the ducts every 10 to 15 ft, so he could reach the complete length of the ducts and do a good job of cleaning and vacuuming the inside of the ducts in the attic.  He then closed the holes with insulated patches that he had got pre-fabricated and brought with him.  I was very pleased with the work and will use him again in the future.  His pricing for airduct cleaning was far below other estimates (mostly from AC companies, who in turn then sub-contract the work to companies like Absorb).
