The response from the contract is inaccurate in most of the detail. What I stated above is true, especially the 1.5" depth, the wrong grade, and several other form related issues. I could not go forward with this as they did not appear to know what they were doing.
I found a very good, honest, and professional company to pour the driveway and sidewalk. They set the forms properly, perfect grade, could tell they had alot of experience, etc. We have a beautiful, strong and solid, professional driveway and sidewalk now and could not be happier. We went with Integrity Solutions/SK Concrete, they did not require payment until all was said and done and we were happy with everything, Steve Konkle was on site the whole time assuring the forms were correct and also when they poured, correctly any minute issue right away. Very, Very happy with them and their price was very good. I posted a review for them separately. I am glad we stopped all activity with Custom Creations immediately before things go worse.
"This customer is on his 3rd concrete contractor because he will not let anybody do work because he believes it is incorrect. I told him I would stand behind the work if it was not up to his standards, and it would be 5" thick. He believed it would not be without me even showing him. Luciaono is not a day laborer and has been with me for 3 years now and has completed some beautiful work with praise and plenty of customers to vouch for our work. No work was done so none of the complaints are true. We set up temporary forms because the customer was still unsure if he wanted full brick or whole brick. This customer also told me he had to run off the builder of the home too. So I believe this is just a customer that cannot be pleased. No money changed hands, I pulled forms and left. No harm done but my lost time."
