Service First Automotive

Our family was pleased with Service First's 3902 Louetta Rd location for many years, but began to notice a trend of doing more and more unnecessary service. They do ask permission first. So they might be okay for those with mechanical savvy and the ability to say "No". This doesn't describe all members of our clan (myself included). So bye-bye to the $600 oil change (our "last straw").

We dropped my truck off on Monday to get the A/C fixed, on Tuesday after 3:00 they called and listed several problems with the vehicle, that they found in their thorough inspection.... the transmission was not one of these problems, we chose just to fix the A/C. On Wednesday after MANY unreturned phone calls, we are finally able to pick up the truck. As soon as I leave the lot I am immediately having troubles with the transmission. It has no power, and can't really get above 30 mph, we end up taking it right back. My truck had NO transmission problems before they worked on it, they found no problems in their inspection... yet now it has a faulty transmission. We literally have tried for DAYS to get them to tell us how much it will cost to fix the truck and if they are willing to give us some sort of a break on it, SINCE THE TRANSMISSION STOPPED WORKING PROPERLY WHILE IN THEIR CUSTODY. After many, many unreturned phone calls, we finally find out of Saturday that they want $4000 dollars to fix the problem!!!! I would stay away from this place if I were you, unless you want to end up like us, spending $500 t on a truck that we will have to junk!!!!

That's premium oil. They're fantastic. They dominate everything, scheduling and such. Very honest in any work that needs to be done. Great. No problems. A in any category.
