Passion Pools

They ran off with the money and never finished.

My experience with Passion Pools has been a nightmare. There are two principal characters at this company, Rob and Roger. After contracting, every conversation with Rob was a challenge. He would only either talk on the phone, or send illegible/unreadable text messages, so it was almost impossible to get a straight answer on any questions. Whatever I asked, the answer was "we do this all the time, you need to relax," which I found offensive and condescending. In the process, he kept making excuses for why he wasn't available to speak - including family health issues, his own health issues, his travel schedule, etc. I have a lot of sympathy for that sort of thing, but he crossed the line into inappropriate. Finally, when his reply texts became really incoherent, I told Roger, the other principal that I would only deal with him. So things started smoothly - the excavation and the gunite work were completed and after each stage I paid them as scheduled (about 70% of the total at that point). Then, after a month of excuses of why no more work had been done and promise after promise that workmen were to show up at my house (and no one did), they suddenly went radio silent. A couple of days later their company was featured in the news. [*** Link removed ***] . And then... the next day, I got a certified letter from the gunite company saying Passion Pools had not paid them and there was a lien on my house. So basically, I may be out a lot of money for this if these guys don't come through - and I don't have a lot of faith that they will. I currently have a concrete hole in the ground in my back yard. Do yourself a favor... choose another vendor.

an absolutely amazing custom pool & spa combo in our backyard. We are truly
blown away by what we were able to get for our money compared to what I?ve
researched online even after the build. We sit in the spa at night still in
disbelief at how awesome it turned out. The creativity and attention to detail
is remarkable. Sparing all of the day to day details I can tell you that as
many modifications as we requested after starting, most people would have lost
it as I am very particular. Not with this company. From the last minute
unplanned requests such as replacing the gutters on the house to adding area
drains, extending the fence three times (sorry Roger love you bro), moving the
A/C unit and minor landscaping changes, every modification that we wanted done
once we saw the pool coming to life was welcomed with enthusiasm and actually
improved upon due to their experience which is obvious from day one. This is
just another reason why we chose them.  We continue to receive compliments on the
build even from other contractors performing other projects including our pool
cleaning company which is ASPF certified and NSPF members. Quality equipment
and precision installation is key for a long lasting pool and Passion Pools
supplied both and much more. I have no regrets and would absolutely recommend
them to anyone considering a pool or backyard renovation.
