Eskimo Insulation

Unfortunately I am not able to recommend Eskimo Insulation. They did the spray foam insulation in our new construction home and we ran into many issues which ultimately resulted in us having to pay another company $1,486 to fix their original job. The original quote stated that we would be getting 3.5 inches of spray foam on exterior walls. In actuality, they only sprayed 1.5-2.5 inches on many walls and we had to insist that they come back out to finish the job. When they did finally return, they spent only 45 minutes touching up the 50+ low areas we had marked, and used improperly mixed foam which had not chemically reacted and could be potentially hazardous. We also expressed concerns that they had sprayed insulation directly on the fireplace, which is a major safety hazard. Contrary to what is stated on their website, they also did not create fire-safe ignition barriers in the attic area. They used common fabric and then told us that the foam itself is fire-rated, so fabric was fine. We asked them to send the foam specifications so we could verify this, which they never did. All of our questions, requests, and concerns were met with a dismissive and defensive attitude from the company even though we were paying them over $15,000. We only wanted to make sure that we got what we paid for, and that our home was safe and everything was done in accordance with local building codes. We had several other spray foam professionals come out to assess the job, and they brought up even more issues. We ultimately had to pay an additional $1,486 for another company to spend two days fixing all of these problems so that our new home would be properly and safely insulated.

We have a VERY large attic. Eskimo Insulation came out and gave me a great bid ($2000 less than other guys) . Very professional and timely. Matt came out quickly and surveyed that attic. He answered all my questions. We booked a date. The team showed up on time and completed the project that day. Per policy, we had to vacate the house during insulation and that night. Came back the next day. No smell. Insulation looks great. Very professional service.

Arrive and completed on time.  Were liberal with thickness.  Home has a much warmer feel this winter and electric bills are reduced.
